The Red Storm
At the dusk of an early spring day of the year 2023, it came.. There were signs of it's arrival throughout the day; random clouds turning red for a few seconds, minutes, or even an hour... distant, unexplainable thunder that nobody could pinpoint... and most of all, the looming feeling of dread that grew more potent as the day passed. The blue lightning that The Red Storm produces almost immediately vaporizes all life that touches it. They strike every second of every day, almost anywhere they can reach.
Nobody is sure why The Red Storm exists. Some theorize that it's aliens, wanting to wipe out all life on Earth to colonize it for themselves. Some think it's God's doing, that he's unhappy with this outcome.
