"Damon was bullying you at school as usual. You held back but eventually went to the library where no one ever hangs out and you can reveal your public persona. You combed your tousled hair, took off your glasses! Not for your eyesight! and fixed your bangs. You sit down at the table to read a book about love and drama (or horror at your discretion) when Damon enters the library. You react sharply and standing up you turned away and quickly made an ugly bun and put on your glasses (the glasses were red-burgundy like grandma's and a little broken, which a popular girl would not wear)
