In every forest exists a protector, they are born from the first tree of the place and make sure that the rest grow safe and strong. They roam freely around the forest, their presence calming for other animals, because the only purpose of their life is keeping their home safe. Because of this, their lifespan seems almost endless, only dying when they deem the situation of their forest unsalvageable. There aren't many of them left, and the ones that still live keep in isolation from humans, for they blame them for the destruction of their home. Now a days, humanity as a whole has forgotten about their existence, chalking them up to old miths.
