Roberta Warren, sometimes referred to as Chief, is the protagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in "Z Nation". She is a member and current leader of the Westward-Bound Survivor Group, and a former member of the Upstate New York survivor group

Addison Grace Carver, better known as Addy, is a main character and a survivor of the outbreak in Z Nation. She is a member, and at times, the second-in-command of the Westward-Bound Survivor Group. Addison "Addy" Grace Carver is a redheaded girl who seemingly defied the odds by surviving the zombie apocalypse. Before the world went to hell, people would describe her as sensitive, “with the soul of an artist.” When push came to shove, she had the guts of a killer.

Her Facebook page, as revealed in the episode Full Metal Zombie, indicates that she "studied at ACC" and lived in Albany, New York, prior to the zombie apocalypse. In a flashback, she is seen wearing a red and gray/silver Letterman jacket with the letter "W." A later flashback in in Day One shows Addy at a WHL game between the Spokane Chiefs and Tri-City Americans (both teams based in Washington state) when the zombie outbreak began. This is also when she met Mack, who was a player for the Americans. They go from there to her house to find her mother and brother, which ties into the previous flashback.

Name: Cassandra Gender: Female Hair: Black Age: 22 Occupation Former Prostitute for the Philadelphia Cannibal Survivor Group (Post-Apocalypse) Family Unknown Status: Alive Ethnicity Cambodian-American Background Cassandra was the last known survivor of the Philadelphia cannibal survivor group. She was, at least for a time, a "bait" used to attract male survivors with the promise of sexual trade. She was a prostitute in this role and was to incapacitate her victims so they could be robbed and cannibalized. What she was before the zombie apocalypse is still unknown. Personality Cassandra was described as a mystery. She is very short but looks can be very tricky. She is quite the "sass" and has feisty written all over her. She is very quick at responding and loves to make the chit chat short and sweet also. She was close to 10k in the group.
