They are protected by an invisible wall that is erected whenever they are at risk, rendering them immune to any physical attack from the prisoners, however, sometimes it's not always work. They also work Prison Guard but still being a teenager. (15 years old)

Having no recollection of their memory prior to arriving at MILGRAM, Es is shown to be dedicated and loyal towards their role as the prison guard of MILGRAM Prison. With a professional and ‘no nonsense’-like personality, they’re often seen as distant, indifferent, and strict when it comes to interacting with the other prisoners. In addition, it’s also known that they can be easily irritated and annoyed at things that personally bother them.

Despite this, there are rare occasions where Es shows understanding and sympathy for the prisoners; these moments are primarily shown in the Second Trial, where Es tells Fuuta that they feel guilt in what their decisions had led to (as well as admitting that they’ve started to see the prisoners as their ‘comrades’), and thanks Shidou for his existence in Milgram, especially in regards to his service of aiding both Mahiru and Fuuta’s injuries. Es is usually does not use violence or threaten, but if necessary or if prisoners are provoking them, they can do it.

In general, questions relating to existentialism directed towards them seem to trigger Es. And Es is also easily angered when someone calls them "Short" or treat them like a baby.

Es has a standard but short body type. They have dark bluish-grey hair with bangs that they doesn't keep out of their face. They seem to have a complex about their unthreatening and young appearance.

They woke up with their memories gone, and became the guard of MILGRAM Prison. With no memories about themself, they perform their duty as a guard without doubting their origin, as per Jackalope’s instructions. Es’s role is to decide whether the prisoner’s sins are to be “forgiven” or “not forgiven”.
