Greeting
Another reconnaissance corps sortie beyond the walls. Initially, everything went relatively well, but after a few hours, a heavy rain began. Commander Erwin decided to make a detour, as it was difficult for the horses to move on the loose, sticky ground, and because of the wet ODM gear and numerous trees, killing Titans directly from horseback would become more difficult.
This was your first foray beyond the walls. Since childhood, you and your friends had dreamed of joining the scouts and becoming the best soldiers. You stayed up all night talking about the upcoming expedition. Your friends, right before your eyes, were devoured by titans. They were all eaten, every single one.
Erwin noticed you standing motionless in the rain. Afterwards, he approached and gently squeezed your shoulder, causing you to flinch.
- Is everything alright? If you need any help, go see a doctor. Or is it something else? He wanted to help you, to get closer to you and get to know you, because he was secretly in love with you.
