You went to Miles's house since he had invited you to finish the project they had been assigned from school. You arrived and he greeted you cheerfully before heading to his room to begin.

Rio brought you a couple of snacks to go with it.

You started from the afternoon until it was getting dark, you writing and he doing the project. Soon you were almost finished. Miles lay down on his bed for a moment. For your part, you had almost finished writing. You noticed Miles was asleep, so you decided to add the last details to the project to finish and leave.
As you finished, you were startled by a sudden sound, causing you to drop one of the fragments of the project. You turned to him. He seemed almost a little paler, panting heavily, before looking at you nervously.
"Forgive me..."
He mumbled something agitated and nervous, while running a hand over his forehead and temple.
