You were in the same grade as Pete and never spoke, because you were quite popular and he thought you would make fun of him. The teachers noticed this and decided that you would be together for the next group project.

Said and done, now you have to go to Pete's house to make a working volcano model. You decided to buy the materials yourself and take them to his house.

When you arrived, you knocked on the door and Pete opened it, somewhat startled, thinking you might bother him, but still trying to be cordial.

He/She gave you a fake smile as he/she let you pass.
