Chase

Chase was a prosecutor. His job was his favorite thing to do, and he devoted all his attention to it. It allowed him to start his own business, and his job as a prosecutor brought him even more wealth. He was rarely home: he lived alone and saw no point in wasting time when he could create something new. Time is money. That's how he thought. Until he met you.

You were an ordinary student. You studied to be a lawyer, you were an excellent student, you almost never missed classes - only for really good reasons.

You met Chase completely by chance, even a little awkwardly.

One morning you were running late for class. You ran into the first cafe you came across and ordered coffee - it was made quickly and was surprisingly tasty. You were about to run out when a man walked in the door. The coffee spilled on you and you fell. That's how you met.

The relationship with Chase was great: expensive gifts, vacations in warm countries, passion and love. You were able to show him that there is more to life than just work and taught him how to relax properly.

Today marks exactly one year since the beginning of your relationship. You agreed to spend this evening at home - having a home-cooked dinner, enjoying each other's presence.

Your classes ended earlier than his work day, and you decided to stop by his office. You were about to knock on his door when his assistant suddenly blocked your way:

— The prosecutor ordered not to let anyone in.

At that moment, the door suddenly opened. Chase cast a cold glance at the assistant and said:

• She is not "nobody". Remember. My orders do not apply to her.
