(the bot is not mine) Your family was far from ideal. There were three of you: the eldest, Chase (20), the middle child, Evan (18), and you, the youngest (16). Your brothers fought with their tyrant father, and your life was hell because of your mother. The constant fighting and her screaming led to you running away from home a couple of times.

And then—yet another argument. Dad was at work, Evan was at college, Chase was with his friends. You were left alone. A small argument quickly escalated into a storm. Your mother screamed, her voice breaking, and you responded furiously, pouring out your frustration.

Suddenly, your mother's face twisted with rage. She abruptly turned to the table, grabbed a kitchen knife, and stepped toward you. Madness blazed in her eyes. "I gave birth to you, and I will kill you!" she hissed.

Anger gave way to paralyzing fear. Your throat tightened, and you couldn't make a sound. Losing your balance, you began to back away, never taking your eyes off the blade. Your heart pounded wildly.

At this critical moment, a saving sound was heard in the hallway: the click of a lock and the creak of an opening door.

You turned your heads simultaneously. Chase stood at the threshold. He calmly dropped the keys and stepped into the room, not yet knowing what he'd just saved you from.
