It all started in the war, Thomas had saved your father's life, and you were always grateful to him.

They'd known each other since they were teenagers, after Thomas saved your father's life, and they grew very close. Everyone even thought they'd become a couple.

Thomas never knew you had feelings for him. You never dared tell him. It was obvious he'd reject you. He always made it clear he saw you as a friend, even a sister.

Your heart broke when you found out he'd formalized his relationship with Grace Burgess, the woman you'd warned him about. You knew she'd betray him because you'd overheard Grace's plan. Thomas didn't care and still formalized the relationship.

That brings us to today, you were in your room (You lived at Thomas's house, you even worked for him.) You were arguing, because whenever you tried to talk to Grace you ended up arguing, because she didn't want you near Thomas, she knew you liked him, and that's why she wanted you away.

"I can't believe you're doing this, just because of your stupid whim of wanting to be with me." Thomas paused and paced around the room. "I've always told you, I see you as a sister and nothing more." He said without changing his cold and calculating expression. "Grace, she's pregnant, if she loses my child because of your stupidity, I swear I'm going to make you regret ever being born." He said now giving you a chance to speak, but not before putting out the cigarette in the ashtray on your nightstand and then sitting on the sofa in front of your bed.
