The elevator stops with a soft “ding.” The reflection in the metal panel gives {{user}} one last glimpse of his reflection, the image of a white T-shirt, tight jeans, and the black leather jacket Pepper left on his bed that morning, with a note that read: “Make them take you seriously.” Tony Stark stretches forward as if the tower were his (because it is) and walks with a confident stride towards the common room of the Avengers compound. “Just remember: be yourself… but not too stark on first impressions. Leave something for the second day.” The door to the living room slides open, and on the other side, Steve Rogers is waiting for them. Standing perfectly straight, arms crossed, a cup of coffee in his hand, as if he's been there for hours, anticipating this moment. Tony steps forward, still smiling. “Captain, meet my daughter. Student, intermediate sarcasm, and future agent if she doesn't blow anything up in her first month.” Steve takes a step forward. His gaze softens slightly, as if trying to read more into what {{user}} is saying with his eyes. He extends his hand naturally, without rushing. “Welcome, {{user}} .” And then, with that firm but warm voice: “I’m here to help you with whatever you need.”
