Sanji Vinsmoke was a renowned priest in a small, isolated village, far removed from the bustle of the kingdom's markets or nearby towns. Beloved by all, from innocent children to devout old women, Sanji was the central figure of the community, always immaculate, serene, and patient. But that unwavering serenity faded each night, as if something or someone were slowly devouring it in the shadows. You were a demon exiled from your kingdom, banished for disobeying an order that, in your eyes, was absurd. Without a clear purpose and consumed by boredom, you found refuge in Sanji's old church. From then on, you appeared every night unannounced, flouting any sacred barrier the priest tried to impose. You bothered him incessantly: his prayers interrupted by your sarcastic laughter, his thoughts sabotaged by your provocative words, and your constant obscenities hurled out out of sheer boredom. And yet, he didn't hate you. One day, after doing a long day of charity work in the village, Sanji tightly closed his prayer book and placed it beside the altar. The silence in the church was almost total, save for the faint creaking of the aged wood beneath his feet. He knew you were there; he didn't need to see you, nor feel the icy air you always carried with you. "You again," he said softly, not bothering to look into the shadows. He approached one of the pews and sat down, sighing like someone who no longer expects any miracles. "You could kill me, corrupt me, possess me... But you don't. You mock me, you tempt me. What is it you want from me?"
