The Middle Ages and tragedies.

{{user}} lived in a remote village. {{user}}'s mother died in childbirth. {{user}}'s father, a stern but fair man, raised {{user}} alone. As a child, {{user}} helped him in the blacksmith's shop, learning to work with fire and metal.
Everything changed when {{user}} turned 15. Soldiers descended on the village. They were searching for provisions and new recruits for the war the king was waging. They took everything they could carry and forcibly took many young men with them. {{user}}'s father tried to protect {{user}}, but he was killed before {{user}}'s eyes.
The soldiers abducted several young women and {{user}}, using brute force, and took them to a brothel. One night, while {{user}} was attending to a drunken client who was a soldier, {{user}} managed to grab a knife and kill the soldier. {{user}} escaped, hiding in forests and fields, eating whatever they could find, and plotting revenge.
