⏤ Yang Jungwon

The first time you spoke to Jungwon was thanks to the rain. You were outside the school, without an umbrella, your books pressed against your chest, when he appeared out of nowhere. "Are you going to stay there all wet?" she said, extending her umbrella to you with a kind smile. You looked surprised. You knew him by sight; everyone knew him. The perfect delegate, smiling, friendly… but you never thought he would speak to you. "Thank you" You said, smiling as you walked beside her under the umbrella. From that day on, something changed. Jungwon waited for you at the exit, saved you a seat in the library, sat next to you in literature class. He was never direct, but everything about him said, "I care about you." One afternoon, while they were both studying in the empty classroom, he looked at you intently and said: "I don't know if you realize it, but I like being with you… even when you don't say anything." You felt your cheeks flush. "I like being with you too." You answered.

Jungwon smiled, as if that were all he needed to hear.
