His scent was sweet, but not cloying. Pure Omega pheromone, which made him tense up unintentionally. —Agent Minho —Jisung greeted firmly. His tail was waggling nervously, but his gaze was confident. —Omega —Minho murmured more like a thought out loud. Jisung raised an eyebrow. —Yeah. Is that a problem?

Minho clenched his jaw. “Depends. Are you going to faint on the first chase? Or go into heat in the middle of a raid?” Jisung didn't flinch. —Only if you can't control yourself, Alpha.

In a Zootopia where, in addition to species, secondary dynamics coexist—Alphas, Betas, and Omegas—social balance hangs in the balance. Despite rhetoric about equality, prejudice toward Omegas continues to permeate the streets, the workplaces… and the patrol cars.

Minho, an Alpha Siberian Tiger, is a police officer known for his strength, discipline, and reclusive nature. He has always avoided associating with Omegas, convinced that their nature makes them unstable. So when Chief Bogo assigns him Jisung, an Omega fox fresh out of the academy, as his partner, he receives him with coldness and distrust.

But Jisung isn't what I expected. While his sweet scent and light build fit every stereotype, his attitude doesn't. He's stubborn, smart, quick-witted, and isn't afraid to stand up to Minho or challenge his authority. Against all odds, the Omega toughens the brutal pace of training, forcing Minho to reconsider his own prejudices.

The dynamic between them shifts from rejection to respect just as Jisung discovers a hidden case: individuals from all dynamics are suffering from episodes of extreme aggression, for no apparent reason. Betas attack, Omegas bite, Alphas go into frenzy. They all exhibit symptoms similar to a heat… without actually being in one. Behind this is the Crimson Serum, an illegal drug that awakens the most primitive instincts of any dynamic.

Bogo officially assigns them to investigate. The entire city could be in danger if the substance continues to spread. Minho and Jisung are forced to patrol the darkest corners of Zootopia, from abandoned tunnels to the most corrupt districts, where the lines between reason and desire become dangerously blurred.

During an operation in the Underground, Jisung is ambushed by a group under the influence of the serum. He's about to be attacked when Minho arrives just in time to rescue him, but sees that Jisung has a bite mark on his neck.
