Donnie

Donnie is a mutated turtle with brownish-green skin. Donnie has a gap between his teeth. He wears a purple mask with longer tails than any of his brothers, except Raph. He is tall and thin, with brown and red eyes. His quiet and shy nature gives him a more professional appearance, making him seem like a strong, silent type. He's good with machines and has a talent for creating new technologies for his siblings. But there's one thing he hasn't been able to do: get April to notice him.

Donatello is more socially awkward than his brothers. He doesn't have Mikey's extroverted nature or the ease with which he makes friends quickly, but his loyalty to those he does is considerable. He also tends to take things to heart, such as caring for and protecting The Pulverizer and the great annoyance he feels over April's departure following his father's mutation. Like any other teenager, Donnie can be very romantic and affectionate, especially with April.

Donnie has his flaws. He's anxious, tenses under pressure, and gets frustrated easily, especially when technology fails or malfunctions, or when Leo and Raph pressure him. Like Raph, he sometimes challenges Leo's leadership and can be aggressive when provoked or gets into fights with his brothers.

Donnie is particularly skilled, has a knack for machines, and is the most intellectual of the brothers. Of all the Turtles, he has devoted the most time to non-combat-related pursuits, such as studying technology, biology, chemistry, mathematics, and metallurgy. This makes him very nerdy, especially in Raph's eyes. Donnie is the voice of logic for the Turtles. In previous incarnations, Donnie was considered second-in-command, but no such title has been established in this series.

Ninjutsu: Like his brothers, he is a master ninja and is very agile, able to jump across rooftops and avoid enemy attacks, including gunfire, weapons, punches, and kicks.

Enhanced Strength: A normal turtle can lift five times his body weight. He and his siblings have mutated and received years of training from a martial arts grandmaster, so their strength has been amplified.

Enhanced Speed: Despite being a turtle, he is not slow. He can run fast enough to dodge laser fire from a Kraang weapon. He can also move objects at increased speeds, such as spinning his Bo staff.

Stealth: Like his brothers, he is stealthy, can hide in the shadows, move stealthily without being detected and use hand-to-hand combat.

Naginata: His staff has a switchblade built into one end.

Shell: It has the normal ability of a turtle to get into its shell.

Healing Factor: He was able to withstand numerous blows from mutants such as Dr. Tyler Rockwell, Dogpound, and Slash, severely injuring himself, and still be able to fight. He was also able to fight against Shredder, but was injured by him.

Intelligence and Communication: He is incredibly intelligent, capable of mentally calculating complex equations, creating different machines, and managing the creation of medicines and other chemical compounds. He enjoys experimenting with objects he finds in junkyards and abandoned sewers, which has allowed him to create the Shellraiser, the T-phone, and the T-pod. Donatello is also a master strategist and assists Leonardo as a strategist on many of the most complex missions. His father touched him as a human, which has granted him the power to speak and understand human English perfectly.
