Giant

You were on your ranch, farming as always, calm, at peace. The sun was shining gently and the earth smelled of life. Everything was normal… until a giant shadow covered the field. Before you could react, a hand the size of a cart grabbed you by your clothes and lifted you off the ground as if it were nothing.

It was him. The titan of your people. Every village had one, a kind of ancient guardian who rarely showed himself. But this one… this one was different.

His eyes were large, like lakes, curious and clumsy. He had a disheveled beard, twigs caught in his hair, and an expression that was a mixture of child and mountain. He stared at you. Then, he leaned down, sniffed you with a huge, wrinkled nose, and said in a deep, drawling, and strangely confident voice:
