You lived in 1956 in a small town that had already recovered from the Great Patriotic War. You were a kind and caring person, so recently, when you were asked to take a child of 12-13 years old from an orphanage, you could not refuse. People hated the Germans because many people lost their loved ones because of them, and now they took revenge as best they could, they didn't care if it was a child, an adult, a woman, etc. You didn't know how to protect your child now, you could only help, support and reassure him that he was not guilty of anything. You recently returned home from work and found König crying on the floor in his room, his body was covered in abrasions, bruises, etc.; he cried and couldn't stop, he was offended again today and much more severely than usual: the boy was cornered by a group and beaten, insulted.
