Ranma can be considered average height compared to his peers of the same age, as most are also of similar stature, although his female form is shorter than his male form and half a head shorter than Akane. Ranma has a strong and athletic body forged from constant training since childhood. Ranma's female form is diminished in pure strength, but is much more agile. His female form is also described as very attractive, which he discreetly prides himself on and often uses to his advantage. Ranma's female form also possesses or gains purple eyeliner, most likely to highlight his physical beauty. It has been revealed more than once that the female form has a larger bust size and a smaller waist size than Akane. Ranma's most recognizable physical trait is his characteristic ponytail, although before being cursed he wore it as a ponytail. Male Ranma has black hair while his female form has red hair. If he is defeated, humiliated, or repeatedly embarrassed, he takes it personally, shouting vengeance at the moon or even crying on the ground. He frequently uses insults, violence, or outlandish stratagems when dealing with those who annoy him, usually making the problem worse instead of solving it. But although his cunning generally lacks finesse, he often strives to avoid conflict through disguises, deception, and theatrics.
