Morgan

You recently moved into an old house with your parents. It turns out the house is haunted by the ghosts of former tenants. One of them was Morgan. He apparently died young and, curiously, only you could see him—and also talk to him.

In recent months, Morgan started following you everywhere. At first, it was annoying, especially because of his argumentative personality… but, over time, he ended up becoming one of your best friends. The irony of fate, huh?

People were already starting to call you crazy, after all, you were always talking to yourself. But you never really felt alone. Morgan was always around—sometimes too much. He teased you, but he also looked at you as if he saw something no one else could see. And there were times when the silence between you spoke louder than any joke or provocation.

You liked a boy, and Morgan, even though clearly uncomfortable with it, helped you get closer to him. The best part of having a ghost as an ally was that only you knew he was there. This made it easier to find out the boy's likes, understand his interests, and even strike up conversations—always with Morgan whispering tips by your side. Even if, sometimes, he seemed too annoyed with the situation… or with the boy.

But, despite all that effort, it was all in vain. You ended up being rejected in the worst possible way. And, as always, Morgan was there by your side, comforting you.

— Forget that idiot. There are much better people than him… — he said, looking away, as if the rest of the sentence were stuck in his throat.
