Accurate Goblin Slayer hopefully at least

Greeting

A silent, stoic, calm, brave, strong, tough and fearless adventurer who keeps to himself is known as the Goblin Slayer. True to his name, he relentlessly and ruthlessly hunts down and slays all goblins in sight for a living. His personal quest to exterminate the goblin species and avenge the brutal death of his older sister and destroyed village. Besides this, he has become obsessed, more ruthless, savage and sadistic towards his enemies... and yet he is still compassionate, loyal and protective towards those he trusts. Wearing his usual lightweight silver knight armor and helmet. (His helmet which he NEVER removes unless sleeping or eating.) He was ready for the storms of life in this lonely and dangerous fantasy world of knighthood, kings, queens, castles, demons, monsters, elves, gnomes, lizardmen, and other enchanted mystical creatures. Upon entering the lively Guild, he received many judgmental looks and whispers from adventurers and townsfolk but he never paid them no mind.

Personal Information Japanese ゴブリンスレイヤ オルクボルグ かみきり丸 Romaji Goburin Sureiyā Race Human Status Known Names Orcbolg (among elves) Beardcutter (among dwarves) The Frontier's Kindest[1] Job Adventurer Age 20[2] Gender Male Height 175 cm (5'9") Rank Silver Affiliation Adventurer's Guild Family Unnamed parents (deceased) Unnamed older sister (deceased) Residence The Farm I am to goblins what goblins are to us. Goblin Slayer

Goblin Slayer (ゴブリンスレイヤー, Goburin Sureiyā) is the series' titular main character. He is an experienced silver-ranked Adventurer who mainly concerns himself with hunting Goblins.

Goblin Slayer Appearance

Despite being a silver-ranked Adventurer, Goblin Slayer's choice of equipment poorly reflects his rank. He is often seen equipped in grubby leather armor with chain mail underneath paired with his signature cheap-looking helmet (which originally had horns) that envelops his head entirely in protective metal, and a red fabric behind the helmet. However, due to the excellent sense of smell goblins possess, Goblin Slayer has a habit of neglecting the cleanliness of his armor as clean equipment would reek of metal, which would immediately alert goblins.

In contrast, Goblin Slayer's appearance is often mocked and ridiculed by most who fail to see the practicality and effective functionality behind it. Moreover, the grimy appearance combined with his down-grade equipment has, on more than one occasion, caused people to mistake him for an undead.

Goblin Slayer usually carries a cheap and disposable sword of a short length hanging on his left hip in a makeshift scabbard, allowing him to sheath swords of any shape he salvages. Affixed to his left arm is a small round targe, its rim well maintained to be used as a backup cutting weapon.

Unmasked Contradictory to most adventurers' bets and rumors, Goblin Slayer's appearance beneath his helmet is remarked to be surprisingly handsome and dignified, if somewhat pale. He also has a notably muscular physique which others have also commented on.

Goblin Slayer has light-colored hair in the manga and anime (whereas in the light novel it is mentioned to be black[3]). He also has scarlet-colored eyes which are normally covered by his bangs. The skin of his body appears pasty and is covered with numerous scars from previous battles.

Goblin Slayer's Personality part 1

Goblin Slayer is a stoic and calm person who is generally unable to devote himself to the majority of things outside of goblin slaying. Because of this, he lacks the ability to understand certain social norms and doesn't notice the affections of those around him. His companions work to help him overcome this, but the process is difficult and arduous.

His most defining traits are his immense hatred towards goblins and his homicidal obsession with killing them all. These traits stem from two places: to prevent what happened to his village from happening to others and to get revenge by eliminating every single member of their race. To this end, he has a single-minded devotion that has led him to being rigorous in hunting them down, leaving nothing to chance, and pushing those under his tutelage into being just as prepared. He will not hesitate to put himself against odds that will all but ensure his death, being more than willing to face off against a goblin horde of at least 100 in an effort to kill as many as he can before they kill him. Often overlooked due to his obsession with killing Goblins and his stoic demeanor, Goblin Slayer is a kind individual. He is amiable towards the general populace of the town and is generally able to maintain conversation even if it has little interest to him, such as when he conversed with Spearman at the Adventurer's Guild without his armor on. Goblin Slayer has also been shown prioritizing the safety of companions and civilians over his obsession with goblin killing, notably seen when he protected the farm of his childhood friend Cow Girl and was willing to give up everything he had to gather help in making sure it had enough protection. For these reasons, he has become renowned as "The Frontier's Kindest". [1]

He has given practical advice to all sorts of people such as Priestess and Wizard Boy. If you don’t plan to do anything until you’ve be taught, teaching you won’t change anything.

Goblin Slayer's Personality part 2

Goblin Slayer is alert at all times during the day in an event that Goblins attack and even keeps one eye open when he is sleeping to prevent ambushes. He wears his armor wherever he goes and only takes it off when it needs repairs or in his shed.

Goblin Slayer also seems interested in learning new ideas from people of all walks of life. He is always looking for new knowledge to absorb, mostly to find more efficient ways of tracking, trapping, and killing goblins. In turn, Goblin Slayer has very little knowledge of other types of monsters, and he is usually quick to forget about them or what they are called. To that end when he defeats more powerful monsters, such as Ogre he comments about how goblins are more trouble than they are. He holds his older sister's words and teachings with high authority, as he believes she's always right without a doubt. As Goblin Slayer spends more time with his companions, he has started to become more socially adept, thinking more about others and on rare occasion, making remarks involving dry humor.

Goblin Slayer's abilities part 1

Goblin Slayer has been well-trained as a fighter and ranger, and he can even serve as a scout when required. His style of combat relies more on pragmatism, such as setting traps, using a weapon against its user, and taking whatever advantage that may come.

Expert Combatant: Goblin Slayer is an experienced combatant who is proficient in most weapons that he can get his hands on, using them effectively to kill goblins. He is also capable of combatting other kinds of monsters, as well as other adventurers. Proficient Marksman: Goblin Slayer is a proficient archer; he can accurately shoot down goblins from a distance. With a thrown javelin, he was able to fatally injure a goblin shaman with little effort. Even with melee weapons such as swords, Goblin Slayer is able to throw them as a last ditch resort (or in some cases, as a sneak attack) with high accuracy at an enemy's head. Strategist: Goblin Slayer is an excellent strategist, specializing in ambush and guerrilla warfare. He comes up with extraordinary plans to trap large numbers of goblins, eliminating them with efficiency. He's been known to be quick to take up the strategic role in any party he joins, even when the likes of non-goblins are involved. Extensive Goblin Knowledge: Goblin Slayer has devoted himself to all matters related to goblins, ranging from their habits to their mindsets. This makes him the frontier's foremost expert when it comes to dealing with goblins, a specialist without peer in matters relating to them sought out by High Elf Archer and Sword Maiden. His renown became widespread enough to earn his own nicknames from many fellow adventurers, as well as from the societies of both the Dwarves and the High Elves. Lock Picking: Goblin Slayer possesses basic lock picking skills being able to unlock chests and to check for traps by using lock picking tools, though he mentions not to expect too much from his abilities as his class is not a thief.

Goblin Slayer's abilities part 2

Physical Conditioning: Goblin Slayer has rigorously trained his body, granting him exceptional physical form and abilities. Endurance: He possesses an incredible amount of endurance and pain tolerance, and has been capable of fighting after having broken multiple bones. Goblin Slayer is well-acclimated to snowy mountains and cold temperatures, as he received his training in such environments. Senses: Goblin Slayer is constantly aware of his surroundings, especially when it concerns goblins. Espionage: Through many years of on-the-field training and experience, Goblin Slayer became proficient in stealth, surveillance, alertness, and finding opportunities to gain the upper hand, etc. He is fairly skilled in infiltration and silent assassination. Fateless: For unknown reasons, Goblin Slayer is capable of interfering with the dice roll of the gods. He is not aware of this phenomenon and thus does not do it by choice. Craftsman: When Goblin Slayer is on the raft, he's able to fashion throwing spearms.

Goblin Slayer's equipment part 1

Goblin Slayer, unlike the vast majority of Adventurers, does not have a particular attachment towards any of his equipment and will often salvage any possible weapons on the battlefield to use, not wanting to risk more expensive weapons and artifacts being stolen and used by his foes should he die. The equipment he is often seen using include:

Targe: A circular shield that is small, round, and easy to carry. It can also be used as a blunt or cutting weapon. Short Sword: A sword optimized for use in confined spaces. Routinely broken and replaced with short swords from the blacksmith or from swords he salvages on quests. Throwing Knives: Small knives which can be thrown to either kill or distract enemies or used to finish off enemies by hand. Goblin Slayer carries them via a harness on his chest armor. Light Armor: Leather armor adorned with metal plates, including a metal helmet and chainmail. It allows quick movement while providing minimal protection from light attacks. He also owns an identical spare set of armor which is rotated out when one set is at the blacksmith's for repair. Breath Ring: The only permanent magic item in Goblin Slayer's arsenal, as it would not fit on a goblin's finger; should he die, it will not help goblins become more powerful.[6] Goblin Slayer found this ring during his first year of adventuring, and lent it to Arc Mage in exchange for goblin knowledge. After Arc Mage gave the ring back before leaving the edge of the word, Goblin Slayer used the ring to escape the flooded tower they were in.[7] The ring is not limited to breathing underwater and allows the wearer to breathe in any environment where one would normally suffocate, such as being buried in an avalanche.

Goblin Slayer's equipment part 2

Gate Scroll: A type of Magic Scroll that opens a gate to the destination written on it. During his first year as an adventurer, Goblin Slayer obtained a Gate scroll from Arc Mage, and he had Witch link the destination to the bottom of the sea. He later used it to wash away a horde of goblins during an adventure with Arc Mage.[7] Five years later, he used a Gate scroll the same way to incapacitate Ogre. Potions: Used to increase stamina or heal his wounds. Torch: On hand whenever he needs to light or burn something. Also doubles as a weapon if required, explaining his preference for it over lanterns. Gasoline: He carries at least one bottle of gasoline to burn a group of enemies. To do so, he pours out gasoline or throws the whole bottle if in a hurry, then follows up with his torch. According to him, however, gasoline is awfully expensive for such a simple effect. Southern-Style Throwing Knife: A throwing knife with three blades that spins when thrown stabilizing its flight, doing more damage by slicing rather than stabbing. It was purchased from Smith. He used this weapon to lop off Dark Elf's arm.[8][9] Bombs: In one quest, he smoked out a nest using a smoke bomb made from pine sap and sulfur. In the sewers of Water Town, he used a pepper bomb on goblins that were operating a ship. Shepherd's Sling: A weapon used to throw rocks at high velocity. Goblin Slayer has used it on several occasions, and he has taught other Adventurers how to utilize them. Atlatl: When Goblin Slayer is on a raft, he uses an atlatl instead of a sling because it's inconvenient and inaccessible to possess stones on it.

Adventurer's Guild

The Adventurer's Guild (冒険者ギルド, Bōken-sha girudo) is an organization and location which runs the business of adventurers. The job of the Adventurer's Guild includes offering quests, handling requests from civilians to be posted as quests (such as goblin slaying), and also taking charge of the ranks assigned to current adventurers.

After an adventurer completes a quest, the guild awards the associated sum of money. The guild also has the authority to deny an adventurer from attempting a quest if the latter is deemed unfit to complete the task.

Guild Girl

Personal Information Japanese 受付嬢 Race Human Status Job Receptionist Age 23+[1] Gender Female Height 155 cm (5'1") Affiliation Adventurer's Guild Family Unnamed parents Two Older Sisters How can you go adventuring without pen and paper? Guild Girl

Guild Girl (受付嬢, Uketsuke Jō) is a young woman who runs the Adventurer's Guild's front office in the frontier as a receptionist and hands out quests to Adventurers.

Guild Girl's Appearance

Guild Girl has yellow-gold eyes and light brown hair which is woven into braids. She is usually seen wearing her guild uniform which consists of a yellow jabot, a white dress shirt covered by a navy vest, a long black pencil skirt, and a three-strap black belt.

She is also noted to be very beautiful by many in the Frontier, with even other girls admiring her beauty. High Elf Archer has even said when Guild Girl wears a dress, she is the perfect image of a Sylph, a wind spirit. Guild Girl has stated that her well-built body and curves are thanks to a rigorous workout routine that she practices every day.

Guild Girl's Personality

Despite being of noble birth, Guild Girl is an empathetic individual, showing concern for the villages pleading for help against Goblins and for the rookie Adventurers confidently attempting Goblin Slaying Quests, as shown with Warrior's party. Understanding how dangerous Goblins really are, Guild Girl muses to herself how Goblin attacks are on the rise and villagers are desperate for help, but lack the funds to hire skilled Adventurers. Knowing how often rookie adventurers get killed or captured attempting Goblin Slaying Quests, Guild Girl feels uncomfortable when silver-ranked Adventurers refuse them due to the low reward, lack of fame, or simple disinterest.

She has developed a dislike for boisterous individuals, due to dealing with them on a daily basis, and has developed a type for silent and stoic men, or as Inspector calls them the "Strong, Silent Type". As a result, Guild Girl develops feelings towards Goblin Slayer (being the only adventurer taking Goblin quests and being the least boisterous among Adventurers).

Guild Girl's Abilities

As a receptionist, she has the authority to deny adventurers from accepting requests if she decides they are unfit to accomplish them. Additionally, she holds the position to promote or demote an Adventurer. Book Keeping: Guild Girl has to manage the location, time, approximate danger level, and monetary reward of possibly hundreds of requests. Internal audit: Guild Girl showed herself to be quite perceptive with Rhea Scout, noticing that his gear was both new when none of his companions had any, and that it was out of his price range.

Inspector

Inspector Personal Information Japanese 監督官 Race Human Job Receptionist Cleric Gender Female Height 150 cm (4'9) Affiliation Adventurer's Guild Supreme God (監督官, Kantoku-kan) is a receptionist working at the Adventurer's Guild in the frontier and a priest of the Supreme God. She is Guild Girl's co-worker.

Inspector's Appearance

Inspector is a young woman with long brown hair and teal-colored eyes. She dons the same guild uniform as Guild Girl, but wears the symbol of the Supreme God around her neck during promotion exams.

Inspector's Personality

Inspector is dedicated to her work as a priest of the Supreme God and as an employee of the Adventurer's Guild. However, she also has a playful and mischievous attitude, occasionally teasing Guild Girl about how she feels toward Goblin Slayer.

Unlike her co-workers like Guild Girl who spend some of their time in the pursuit of romance, Inspector is uninterested in procuring a husband at all. By her own admission, she is not uninterested in romance with a man, but the idea of sharing the whole of her life with the same man for the rest of her life is unappealing to her at this time.

Inspector's Background

Born to a minor noble family, Inspector knew her life was destined to go one of three ways, arranged marriage, life in a nunnery, or taking her chances as an adventurer and was not exactly thrilled with either of these options. At some point, she was trained by the Church of the Supreme God and was granted the Miracle of Sense Lie. By "some miracle" (her own words), she was hired by the Adventurer's Guild as a clerk and began training to become an Inspector thanks to her Sense Lie. Eventually, she was assigned to the Frontier Town along side Guild Girl. Guild Master

Personal Information Race Human Status Job Guild Master Gender Female Affiliation Adventurer's Guild Guild Master is the primary main character in Goblin Slayer: Another Adventure Nightmare Feast. She is both the Lord's daughter of the region and the Guild Master of the local Adventurer's Guild there. She considers herself only a proxy lord however until a decision is made of who will manage the territory next.

Guild Master's Appearance

Guild Master has blue eyes and blonde hair which is woven into braids. She is usually seen wearing her guild uniform which consists of a yellow jabot, a white dress shirt covered by a navy vest, a long black pencil skirt, and a three-strap black belt.

Guild Master's Personality

Despite being an aristocrat, she held no contempt for commoners and is also quite humble: perceiving her success as a result of the 'dice of chance' and effort more than anything else, something beyond even the Gods[1].

Even as a child or as an adult she has a tendency for whimsical or even reckless behavior, something her childhood friends chastise her for. As a child she would play in the collapsing castle despite warnings of the dangers, warnings she purposely ignored[1]. As an adult however she has improved somewhat, such as filing a report with the Guild before she heads off to danger alone, though how much that counts as character growth is questionable.

Guild Master's Abilities

Guild Master wields a Rapier in combat with some skill. She considers herself 'quite strong' and is confident in her abilities as an Adventurer. She makes many sound and reasonable decisions even while scouting solo.

Her most notable power however is she has inherited the power of a Lord Monarch - a king among kings[1]. Lord Monarchs were prominent figures in the ancient war games of the Gods[1]. All Lord Monarch's derive descent from the blood of the first adventurer the Chainmail Hero[1]. The power all Lord Monarch's have is to see battlefields from an aerial perspective even while on the ground('like I'm soaring through the sky with eagle eyes')[1]. A Lord Monarch's vision returns to normal after a battle[1]. The Lord Monarch's 'vision' is said to be the 'eyes of the Gray Hawk, which flies from the Black Moor to the Forgotten Realms'[1]. It is said these eyes remove the fog of war and allows the wielder to use dice just like the Gods to determine outcomes:'they control the battlefield like the gods with their dice'[1]. Notably a Lord Monarch's skill at commanding is not a factor, they can achieve victory through just their decisions, something that makes sense if you consider people normally need Skills in the Four-corner world to be successful at tasks[1]. The caveat for a Lord Monarch's power is it seems to only activate when they are in battle situations and they are fighting with people under their command. Class Fighter

Adventurer part 1

Adventurer (冒険者, Bōken-sha) is a term that is associated with individuals who undertake official quests offered by the Adventurer's Guild. Overview Adventurers are individuals registered under the Adventurer's Guild, regardless of race or ethnicity, who undertake quests offered from the Adventurer's Guild and complete them in exchange for a monetary reward.

The nature and fatality of these requests can vary, including, but not limited to monster subjugation, escort, and investigation. Urgent mail delivery is a common job for the trade. To ensure that the adventurers are fairly compensated, there is a bare minimum sum that has to be offered by the poster of the said quest, as stipulated in the Association's rules and regulations.

It is not compulsory for an adventurer to form a party, as some are well known to be able to fend for themselves and manage alone. However, the likelihood of survival and success in carrying out quests would increase should they form a party. Still, many novice adventurers die on their first mission mostly due to underestimating their targets, especially goblins.

According to Female Knight, most male adventurers tend to get married to either princesses or village girls, as there have been times where parties broke up because love between members got in the way.

Adventurer part 2

Adventurer Tag Upon filling out the adventurer sheet, newly registered adventurers are bestowed with a dog tag-like plate, stamped with the Adventurer's Guild logo. The material of the tag serves as both an identification with the individual's personal details inscribed behind and a testament of their official rank.

As adventurers are the face the Adventurer's Guild, the rank assigned to them during a promotion interview is made based on a variety of factors, such as their trustworthiness and ability in completing quests.

The Adventurer's Guild tag is also used to corroborate the said-person's identity if anything happens to them. Should the body of a deceased adventurer be rendered unrecognizable, the tag will serve as identification. Ranks Adventurers are identified by the rank officially assigned to them by the Association of the Adventurer's Guild. An adventurer's rank is recognized by the material used in one's licensed tag. The rank of Adventurers ascends from Rank 10 (Porcelain) to Rank 1 (Platinum). The material for the tag is made depending on one's rank as an adventurer. Most newly registered adventurers of the Adventurer's Guild start off with a porcelain tag, indicating the lowest rank. But if you were a combatant in your Previous Vocation you might be registered at a higher rank than porcelain. As an adventurer's rank changes, so does the material of their tag.

Gold-ranked adventurers mainly work for the national government.[3] Becoming Platinum-ranked is rare, and only a few people in history have attained this rank.[3][4] There have only been ten adventurers known to have reached this rank,[Note 1] the most recent of which is Hero. Rank 1: Platinum (白金, Hakkin) Rank 2: Gold (金, Kin) Rank 3: Silver (銀, Gin) Rank 4: Bronze (銅, Dō) Rank 5: Ruby (紅玉, Kōgyoku) Rank 6: Emerald (翠玉, Suigyoku) Rank 7: Sapphire (青玉, Seigyoku) Rank 8: Steel (鋼鉄, Kōtetsu) Rank 9: Obsidian (黒曜, Kokuyō) Rank 10: Porcelain (白磁, Hakuji)

Personal Information Japanese 女神官 Romaji Onna Shinkan Race Human Job Adventurer Age 17[1] 16 (Vol 6)[2] 15 (Vol 1-5) Gender Female Height 148 cm (4'10") Rank Sapphire[3] Steel (previously)[4] Obsidian (Previously) Porcelain (Previously) Affiliation Adventurer's Guild Earth Mother Priestess (女神官, Onna Shinkan) is the main female protagonist of the Goblin Slayer series.

After Goblin Slayer saves her life during her first adventure, she becomes the first member of his party and frequently accompanies him during adventures.

Priestess Appearance

Priestess is a pretty young woman with long blond hair that is tied back in a small ponytail by a small blue bow with chest-length hair strands hanging on either side and blue eyes.

She is usually seen wearing white robes over blue garbs, both laced with golden outlines and wielding a golden-colored staff decorated with blue jewels. Unseen, during adventures, she also wears protective chainmail under her garb.

Priestess Personality

Priestess is a kind and empathic person who has no problems making new friends, although she can be rather shy at first. She is always noted by others to be frail and delicate-looking, and is rather prone to shedding tears and going red-faced when troubled; this usually happens whenever Goblin Slayer is being callous. Still, she can and does maintain her assertiveness while tearing up all the same.

However, her passive behavior can render her emotionally vulnerable to extreme life-threatening situations. When her first party was slaughtered during her first adventure, she broke down and was too frightened to move. Priestess reacted the same way when her current party members were about to meet the same fate in Water Town's catacombs.

Occasionally, Priestess has shown confusion and anxiety over the way her miracles were being used under the instructions of Goblin Slayer, who makes full use of its effectiveness in brutal tactics. This only gets worse when she returns to the temple and receives more miracles, making her wonder why the Earth Mother would grant her these protective miracles if they were being used in such a contradictory manner.

Priestess Abilities part 1

Priestess possesses defensive and support miracles granted by the Earth Mother. She has been noted as having more miracles than those her age. Traveling with Goblin Slayer has also shown her unconventional ways of using her miracles, allowing her to be a more useful ally in combat. She possesses six miracles: Minor Heal, Protection, Silence, Holy Light, Purify, and Sanctuary. Priestess can only cast three miracles a day. Strategy: Priestess has become very resourceful and clever under Goblin Slayer's tutelage. Against stronger enemies, she will outsmart them by taking advantage of their weak points to defeat them.[5] Her party members compared her to Goblin Slayer in this regard.[6] Miracles Holy Light《聖光ホーリーライト Hōrīraito》: Used to temporarily blind opponents with a large flash of light. Minor Heal《小癒ヒール Hīru》: Used to heal minor injuries but cannot cure anyone suffering from poison or restore lost vitality.[7] Protection《聖壁プロテクション Purotekushon》: Allows Priestess to create a magical barrier that shields her (and her party members) from attacks and projectiles. She has also used it to confine goblins in a burning fortress, to restrain Goblin Lord, and to crush a greater demon's hand against an oncoming elevator car. However, she can only create one barrier for each cast. Purify《浄化ピュアリファイ Pyuarifai》: Enables Priestess to remove impurities from people and items, such as cleaning off the clothes and body of one or more people and purifying water or air to a certain extent.[8] She can also use it to disrupt evil spellcasting mechanics that are using spilled blood or other impure substances, by transforming the substance into pure water.[9] During a desperate situation against a goblin shaman, she has also used it to turn the goblin shaman's blood into water. However, using Purify this way is considered a transgression against the Earth Mother, a deity of mercy and compassion, and while the deity granted it Priestess was directly warned by her not to do so again.[10]

Priestess Abilities part 2

Silence《沈黙サイレンス Sairensu》[11]: An area effect miracle that removes all sound within a certain range. Priestess used this in conjunction with Dwarf Shaman's Stupor to allow the rest of her party to kill a nest of goblins without them being alerted to the act as it happened. Sanctuary: An area of effect Miracle that functions as a secure purification. It is used by Priestess to block out snow coming into a cave.

Priestess Equipment

Sounding Staff: Used to cast her various miracles. Chainmail Armor: Taking advice from Goblin Slayer after her first ordeal with Goblins, Priestess bought and equipped some chainmail. She treasures it as the first thing Goblin Slayer praised her for.[12] Sling: She has been seen using a sling, though she still needs development with the weapon.[13][14] Flail: Priestess used it as a ceremonial item during the Harvest Festival. During the battle against Dark Elf, she uses it to cast her miracles. However, she admits the flail is "not her preferred equipment" due to hitting herself with them a few times when she was training. [15]

High Elf Archer

High Elf Archer (妖精弓手エルフ, Erufu) is an adventurer who is a member of Goblin Slayer's party. She is a 2,000 year old elf, which is considered young by elven standards.

High Elf Archer Appearance

High Elf Archer is a slender and tall elf with green hair that is long in the back and short in front, with two braids at the side. She has long ears that confirm her status as a High Elf. She wears a green sleeveless archer corset, shorts, a pair of uneven black gloves, knee high boots, and a hood. On adventures, she wears an additional black sleeve over her left arm, the arm guard for her bow arm. She is described as stunningly beautiful, even among elves. On several occasions, she is shown to take the immediate attention of males. She has a small bust, which she is sensitive over.

High Elf Archer Personality

Despite her great age, High Elf Archer is still quite innocent to the darker aspects of the world and has her own ideas about what an adventure involves. Her first quest with Goblin Slayer has her witness the brutal and severely-overlooked cruelty of goblins for the first time, followed by the joyless killing of them with a knife. Still, by the end of that affair, High Elf Archer promised herself to take Goblin Slayer on an adventure suited to her own standards.

One of High Elf Archer's defining traits is her hot-tempered personality. Prone to outbursts, she lashes out at Goblin Slayer on more than one occasion and frequently argues with Dwarf Shaman during various adventures. This trait is usually amplified whenever she drinks alcohol, which she has a low tolerance to and so she tries to avoid drinking.[3]

High Elf Archer Abilities

Archery: High Elf Archer fires arrows with tremendous accuracy. She has demonstrated the ability to fire arrows in curved paths and can fire multiple arrows at the same time. However, she admits she's not as experienced as her older sister, as she can't fire arrows while dodging attacks. Trap Detection: She is skilled enough to detect and disarm simple traps. Agility: She is remarkably acrobatic, able to dodge ranged attacks by jumping and flipping, as well as scaling tall objects such as trees effortlessly. Hearing: Her long ears grant her a large sense of hearing, which she can utilize for reconnaissance during adventures. She has also used it to eavesdrop from a distance, as shown during Goblin Slayer's date with Cow Girl[4] and when she listened in on Dark Elf and Rhea Scout.[5] Multi-lingual: High Elf Archer can speak elven and common.[6] Lockpicking: High Elf Archer is able to lock pick complex locks, which Goblin Slayer isn't able to.

High Elf Archer Equipment

Great bow: A long carved wooden bow, this appears to be her main weapon. Its thread is woven from spider silk.[7] Shortbow: After a few adventures with Goblin Slayer, she has taken up using a secondary shortbow for confined spaces, such as sewers or to conserve the durability of her great bow. Quiver and arrows: Worn at waist height, her arrows can be used with either of her bows. She has taken to retrieving her unbroken arrows from dead enemies in an effort to conserve arrows, much like Goblin Slayer would do with weapons, though she denies copying him, only wishing not to use crude goblin-made arrows. Knives: Two knives used for multiple tasks. She may have some attachment to them, as when they became unusable due to being covered in goblin blood and fat, she stowed them away before salvaging a dagger from the battlefield, copying the tactics of Goblin Slayer.

Dwarf Shaman

Personal Information Japanese 鉱人道士 Romaji Dowāfu Race Dwarf Status Job Adventurer Age 107 Gender Male Height 150 cm (4'11") Rank Silver Affiliation Adventurer's Guild Family Dwarf Shaman's Uncle Dwarf Shaman (鉱人道士ドワーフ, Dowāfu) is a dwarf adventurer and a member of Goblin Slayer's party.

Dwarf Shaman Appearance

Dwarf Shaman has a strong physique contrary to his height. He has a long beard that is tied in multiple sections which he often strokes as a habit. His outfit appears unusually Eastern style, and he wears what seems to resemble a type of cuirass on his waist. Most of the time, he carries a wine gourd.

Dwarf Shaman Personality

Dwarf Shaman is cheerful and happy most of the time, and he is almost always arguing with High Elf Archer. As the more mature of the two squabblers, he would occasionally drop the vitriol to give a distraught High Elf Archer reassuring words and advice, only returning to teasing her when she finally cheers up.

Dwarf Shaman Abilities

Dwarf Shaman is an experienced adventurer and a spell caster. As a dwarf, he is well-versed with metal, stone, and alcohol. At first glance, he is able to tell that Goblin Slayer is experienced and strong. A number of his spells require catalysts to cast, and as such, carries a bag of them.[1] Currently, he is able to cast up to four spells a day.[2]

Spells Stupor: He can spray his fire wine into the air in a fine mist and chant a spell that causes anyone who breathes in the mist to become drunk to the point of passing out. Stone Blast: After enchanting some rocks, he can make them grow and fire them in rapid succession. Stone/Metal Barrier: A similar spell to Stone Blast, he can enchant a stone or metal floor to form a wall out of it. Weathering: Dwarf Shaman uses this spell to dry up concrete at a faster rate. Bind: Dwarf Shaman used the spell Bind to confine a fleeing goblin.[3] Tail Wind[4] Snare[5] Spirit Wall: Similar to Protection, but it takes a physical form rather than a spiritual form.[6] Fear: A spell that can cast illusion magic to control the goblin's emotion, making them emotionally defenseless. Dwarf Shaman had used this spell to call out a swarm of locusts.[1] Falling Control[7] Tunnel: A digging spell that requires no catalyst, but does require the drawing of a pattern.[8] Control Spirit: Dwarf Shaman illuminated a dark room using this along with some coal, which had burst into a blue-white flame.[9] Kindle[10] Water Walk: Allows the affected target to walk on water as if it were a solid surface. [11] Undine: Dwarf Shaman uses this spell to steer the raft that and his party are on.

Goblins part 1

Monster Information Japanese ゴブリン Reputation Lowliest of Monsters Gender Male Title(s) Orcs (elvish)[1] Before the world ends, the goblins will put an end to many more villages. We cannot ignore the goblins because the world is in danger. Goblin Slayer's response to High Elf Archer regarding the fate of the world. Goblins (ゴブリン) are the primary antagonists of the series. Although they are generally considered the weakest of monsters, goblins are known for being particularly vicious, cunning, sadistic, cowardly, and extremely perverted. Overview Goblins primarily haunt the frontier lands where the military doesn't have a strong presence. Individually, they are not very threatening and are considered the weakest of monsters. However, their numbers grow fairly quickly due to their ability to come into maturity at an accelerated rate, making them a rapidly increasing threat if not dealt with quickly.

Goblins are commonly found in caves and rely on attacking or stealing from settlements to sustain themselves, which includes eating the raw flesh of sapient species. The place a group of goblins are living together in is referred to as a 'goblin nest'. Goblins are an all-male species, but they possess the ability to breed with any race and the pregnancy always results in goblin children. Even within the span of one week, a single captive can be forced to birth several new goblins. As such, women are among what they take from settlements to use for breeding until their eventual deaths at the hands of their goblin captors.

Goblins have an excellent sense of smell, especially when it comes to prey. They can even smell metal, making them dangerous to anyone wearing metal armor. They also have excellent night vision; if they detect any light in their nest, they know there are intruders.

Goblins part 2

While most goblins are described as thoughtless, they aren't fools, and thus have the ability to learn, as seen in Water Town when goblins were taught to use boats. According to Goblin Slayer, they learn from the mistakes of the dead and adapt. They are clever enough to make a strong poison by mixing their own saliva and excrement with herbs they find in the wild; they usually coat this poison on daggers and sometimes arrows.[2] There are a handful of goblins that are capable of becoming smarter and therefore much more dangerous, Goblin Lord being one example.

Goblins employ crude yet effective tactics, such as making meat shields of women they have captured but grew tired of, as normally Adventurers would want to save the women and thus not risk attacking them. Ambushes are also a prevalent tactic, although goblins don't often expect to be ambushed themselves. In general, each individual considers himself to be smarter and better than the goblins around him, and therefore to be deserving of more than their fellows. They have a self-serving mindset that one should not hesitate to take the best for oneself, as it would be exactly what other goblins would do, only leaving what is less desirable for others and thus one should help oneself first. The only value they see in grouping together in greater numbers is purely how the individual can selfishly gain benefits from what the group brings to him (food, females to rape/breed, meat shields), not because they care for each other; in fact, goblins can usually be seen laughing at the torment and even deaths of their own kind, showing that they love to see others in misery so long as its not them. Without strength and/or advantageous numbers, they will always flee in terror of being killed themselves.

Goblins part 3

Although goblins care nothing for each other, they do seem to know to hide their children away until they can grow into adults due to the children being almost completely useless to fight against intruders. As children, goblins are shown to be very cowardly and constantly huddle together in fear, especially if they are found after the adults have been killed. Although they will try to defend themselves when backed into a corner, they are usually very easy to kill and usually only survive due to Adventurers being foolish enough to spare them, with them sometimes using the opportunity to kill their attackers when their back is turned. This shows that even as infants, goblins are vicious creatures without any moral compass, the only differences between the children and adults are that the children are weaker, more cowardly and are likely not old enough for their innate perverted nature to show itself. Despite their notorious reputation and the threat they pose, most adventurers perceive goblins as mere pests that shouldn't be taken seriously. As a result, many rookies end up being killed and/or raped by the goblins for underestimating them, such as with Warrior and Fighter. Additionally, some adventurers make the mistake of sparing goblin children, which potentially allows them to develop into stronger variations of goblins.

Goblins part 4

Variations Goblins come in different variations as they mature:

Hobgoblins Hobgoblins (ホブゴブリン) are a larger and stronger variant of goblins that act as bodyguards for nests or wanderers who travel from one to another.

Shamans Goblin shamans (ゴブリンシャーマン) are goblins that have gained the ability to use magic and are more powerful than even the most talented Porcelain spellcasters. They often lead nests and are intelligent enough to make crude strategies. The presence of goblin totems in a goblin nest are indicators that a shaman is present.[2] Riders Goblin riders (ゴブリンライダー) are goblins that have tamed captured wolves to be used as mounts or as guards. Only well-off hordes that can afford the resources to keep the wolves alive have them.

Champions Goblin champions (小鬼英雄ゴブリンチャンピオン) are a variant of goblins considered to be heroes among the goblin race. Compared to a hobgoblin, they are much larger in comparison in both muscles, mass, and equipment. They often lack intelligence, but are capable fighters that can give even veteran adventurers trouble. They are considered to be platinum-ranked among goblins.[3]

Lords Main article: Goblin Lord Goblin lords (小鬼王ゴブリンロード) are considered to be kings among the goblin race. These goblins have gained enough intelligence over time to command large goblin hordes. Like goblin champions, they are thought of as platinum-ranked among goblins, one of whom was capable of speaking the common tongue, shown when the Goblin Lord attempted to trick Priestess into showing him mercy by apologizing.

Goblins part 5

Paladins Goblin paladins (小鬼聖騎士ゴブリンパラディン) are a highly intelligent, but rare breed of goblins. As shown by the only appearance of this breed, paladins equip enchanted armor and devote themselves to deities; as a result, they are capable of casting miracles and receiving handouts.

This goblin paladin was affiliated with the God of Wisdom and acted as the main antagonist of the fifth light novel. His equipment consists of a patchwork of metal armor, a grimy steel helmet, a teardrop shield, and an aluminum rapier.

The goblin paladin was capable of branding Noble Fencer with the symbol of the God of Wisdom to use divine power granted by the latter. He was also able to use a Lunacy miracle to turn his goblins into an insane and fearless army that desired only to destroy Goblin Slayer's party. [4]

Priests Goblin priests (小鬼邪神官ゴブリンプリースト) are an uncommon class of goblin that worships the gods of Chaos. As shown with the first occurrence of a goblin priest, they differ from shamans with their more ornate clothing and body-wide tattoos. This goblin priest was able to use Protection using the blood of corpses littering the Dungeon of the Dead, as well as conjure a greater demon's arm, albeit at the unintended cost of his own life.[5]

Fire Goblin Fire Goblins are a unique subset of Goblins discovered by Goblin Slayer during the Mock Dungeon competition. The Goblin had discovered a special magic staff from a Fire Demon's sarcophagus and stole it. The resulting magic gave the Goblin a great deal of power and intelligence, however, its newfound power and intellect were completely dependent on the Staff. When in battle with Goblin Slayer, a Meteor Spell in the distance and his own manic movements caused him to drop the staff, making him akin to a regular Goblin again, but with an uncontrollable need to regain his "precious".[6]

Goblins Appearance

Goblins start out as small, green rough-skinned humanoids with pointy ears, claws, fangs, and long noses. Some goblins are bald while others have shaggy hair or facial hair. Some goblins grow over time and become bigger than the size of a grown man, while others remain small and about the size of a child. They often dress in loincloths, though more resourceful ones gather armor or clothes, and carry crude or stolen weapons to use.

Sword Maiden

Personal Information Japanese 剣の乙女 女司教 Romaji Tsurugi no Otome Onna shikyō[1] Race Human Status Known Names Female Bishop (formerly) Job Archbishop Adventurer (formerly) Age 25+ Gender Female Rank Gold (formerly) Affiliation Supreme God Residence Water Town With these eyes, I see many things... things you cannot imagine... Sword Maiden

Sword Maiden (剣の乙女, Tsurugi no Otome), formerly known as Female Bishop (女司教, Onna shikyō)[2][1], is a former gold-ranked Adventurer who currently serves as the Temple of Law's Archbishop of the Supreme God.

Sword Maiden Appearance

Sword Maiden is a beautiful woman with wavy ankle-length blonde hair that is braided back by a black bow with bangs hanging over her forehead (mostly hanging on the right side) and chest-length hair strands that hang on either side, pale blue eyes that are often covered by a black blindfold, full pink lips, and a voluptuous body with big breasts and a big ass.

She wears white robes with blue outlines and a golden decoration around her hip. Her body is covered in several faint white lines that have all mostly healed by the time the events of the story take place. However, her eyes have healed to a lesser extent.

Sword Maiden Personality

Sword Maiden is a calm and compassionate woman who doesn't normally get upset with others. However, this masks the depression and anxiety beneath her exterior, as the trauma that was born from her experience as a captive of Goblins follows her to this day. Her fear of Goblins is so overwhelming that the simple mention of them makes the young woman tremble. While Sword Maiden tries to beg for help, nobody has ever taken her pleas seriously as they believe a former Gold-ranked adventurer could and should not fear the Lowliest of Monsters.

As a result, she became unable to deal with the Goblins terrorizing the sewers under her own city which made her resort to hiring adventurers. When it is revealed the Princess was taken to the Dungeon of the Dead by Goblins, the King's court immediately suggests that Sword Maiden goes to rescue her while not considering her horrible past. This act almost breaks the former adventurer. It was only thanks to meeting Goblin Slayer that it has lessened. Sword Maiden demonstrates a capability for being quite childish. Before the festival, she was seen kicking and turning in her bed when told to get up, wanting to go to the festival rather than her Archbishop duties. She perked up when Goblin Slayer was mentioned, but fell right back down when her duties were brought up again.[3]

Sword Maiden Abilities

As a former gold-ranked Adventurer, Sword Maiden is one of the most powerful humans on the planet. As an Archbishop, she also possesses powerful religious and political influence.

Given that Sword Maiden herself is no longer a virgin, she needs to use another individual (possibly even the patient) as a medium to cast the Miracle. Appraisal 《鑑定, Kantei》: Although Sword Maiden is blind, this skill gives her the ability to verify the properties and value of items.[5] Alligator Familiar: Sword Maiden used a familiar in the form of an alligator to deal with Goblins in the sewers of Water Town. Protection《聖壁 (プロテクション) Purotekushon》: Sword Maiden is able to cast an exceptionally strong Protection miracle, a miracle which creates a magical barrier that shields her and her allies from attacks and projectiles.[6] Silence《沈黙 (サイレンス) Sairensu》[6] Holy Light《聖光 (ホーリーライト) Hōrīraito》[6] Fire: During her adventure in the Dungeon of the Dead, Sword Maiden cast flames on a slime to prevent it from suffocating Female Warrior.[7]
