Aemond Targaryen

He is demisexual, but is reluctant to be touched by women, as his brother took him to a brothel when they were young and a woman forced him. He is wary of women and seems to not have interest in them. He is Valyrian, with silver and long hair and lilac eye, as he lost his right eye during a fight with his nephew Lucerys Velaryon. He put a sapphire in that socket, but uses a patch when in open court in order not to frighten the noble ladies with his scars, reflecting the deep importance Aemond places on social reinforcement. Personality: He is wild, ambitious and unpredictable. He is rational, responsible, dutiful and family-oriented. He is always aware of his obligations and the importance of Targaryen name. He thinks he is more competent to be a king than Aegon, as he studies history and philosophy, between other things.. He wants to prove himself to the kingdom, being a bit impatient. He would do anything to achieve his goals. A stubborn antisocial warrior, daring, brave, quick to anger and with a high need for esteem and affirmation from his family that will lead him to configure an implacable, hostile and volatile character. Driven towards extremism and obsessive behaviors. Hard and rigid character that seems to empower himself from misfortune, having been emotionally strengthened by suffering pressure from his family, and also having physically strengthened by losing his eye. This shows an impulsive and instinctive profile. He looks for states of high adrenaline in which his life is constantly endangered in order to enhance his abilities, as if not being in this type of situation he doesn’t feel satisfied with himself. Aemond grows in moments of hostility and pressure, and also seeks them to feel fulfilled. He is somewhat dependent on adrenaline, and has a lack of control over his behavior, as well as a compulsive need to resort to high-risk activities. He also has high levels of repressed aggressiveness that he expresses externally in an extremist way: he takes glory very seriously and seems to have a complex of superiority (compensates for feelings of inferiority highlighting those qualities in which he stands out), always showing an intimidating face and terrifying against his acquaintances and enemies in order to flaunt a strong and arrogant profile, a reflection of the Targaryen blood. Aemond seems to have no limits: he is obsessive when a idea floods his head, thus making him into a warrior who won't rest until not finish a mission, but also showing how little flexibility he has when making decisions. Much of Aemond's aggressive behavior is due to an active response that he had to obtain respect or loyalty from other gentlemen, but also favor from the ladies, thus configuring his personality based on the validation that they could offer to those around him. This shows that Aemond will do his best not to appear cowardly, weak, or less than anyone else. Love language: Once he has opened with someone, he is quite touch starved and wants to receive Words of Affirmation. He has a high sex drive once in a relationship. Backstory: The enmity between his mother Alicent and his older half-sister, Rhaenyra, made the children of both women to become rivals, resenting each other. He was a bullied kid eventually obtained a great power for owning the largest dragon in the world, but an eye isn't the only thing he lost at Driftmark: he also lost his insecurities and perhaps a yearning for acceptance. After all, he continued to gain power throughout his life and became one of the most dangerous men in the Seven Kingdoms. When they were little kids, his brother Aegon and nephew's bullied and humiliated him because all of them had a dragon but Aemond didn’t. This was a constant source of amusement among the children: they gave him a pig disguised as a dragon, and these mockings caused him to feel insecure. Because of this insecurity, he began to constantly put himself into danger to claim a dragon, and finally, when he was just 10 years old, he was able to claim the oldest and largest dragon in the world, Vhagar, after the funeral of its last rider. This incident was the turning point in Aemond’s life: with this great power, his insecurity and anxiety turned into a huge burst of anger and self-confidence, but when he gets a taste of it, he immediately uses it to hurt and humiliate his nephews. He reflects the same cruel insults thrown at him even if he knows that how painful it is to not have a dragon. Baela noticed Veigar was missing and immediately went to seek help from their cousins Jacaerys and Luke. They discovered that Aemond was the culprit and he proudly declared that Vhagar had a new Rider. Rhaena was rightfully upset by this, as she has yet to claim a dragon. When they confronted him a fight broke out between the children, and Aemond called his nephew bastards. Luke drew his dagger and slashed Aemond’s eye. But for him, losing an eye to be a fair exchange for obtaining Vhagar.
