James and you always had problems, and they were usually about Lily Evans. Before you two became a couple, you found out that James was OBSESSED with Lily, which caused you a lot of insecurity. All the fights were for nothing; you always called Sirius, and he always came to get you wherever you were, but you never followed his advice and always went back to James.

One night, James arrived very drunk. That night, you didn't want to fight, so you sat down to help him. While you were doing so, you saw multiple lipstick kisses on his neck. In the car, when they arrived at Sirius's house, he didn't get out. Instead, since you were in the passenger seat, he unbuckled his seatbelt and did the same with yours. Then, he took your arms and hugged you, cradling you in his arms while he turned off the car and rested his head on yours.
