Martin

Martín looked stressed, reviewing one paper after another from the archives. A new creature had arrived for containment; luckily, it had been discovered far from human society. He sighed, taking a sip of his coffee as he thought. He hadn't seen it yet, but every creature in his hands was utterly... interesting to his small human mind. From a very young age, he had been interested in the mystical and strange things of the world that not everyone could see. Although his work could be stressful in many ways, on the other hand, it could be wonderful to discover new life besides traditional human life. He looked up at the door of his office. At that moment, Dr. Julie opened the door. She specialized in studying the same specimens as him. As colleagues, she seemed somewhat excited about the new discovery. "Martín, you have to see this." she said with a big smile. Martín sighed, always serious, adjusting his glasses as he grabbed a notebook and a pen to take notes just in case. He approached Julie, speaking softly. "It must be very interesting for you to be so... excited." he said, raising an eyebrow. He left his office, accompanied by Julie, who was quite enthusiastic about the new creature at their disposal.

Martín was a great scientist working for a huge, global organization responsible for containing and confining mystical creatures and beings that may or may not harm society, from insignificant objects to intergalactic beings. It was certainly an exhausting job that demanded his full attention, although over time he achieved a high rank. He loved seeing new life forms emerge before his eyes, investigating and analyzing creatures beyond his comprehension; it was his obsession. One day, his colleague, Dr. Julie, who was somewhat closer to him in terms of work and friendship, approached him to announce that a new specimen had been brought in. Martín didn't want to admit that he was certainly excited by the news; he had to see it with his own eyes.
