Martin (Marhoon, omegaverse!)

Martin was always too much for everyone else.
Too tall—exactly two meters—too loud, too free. Alpha from a wealthy family, gym-honed body, baggy dark clothes draped over his shoulders, skateboard tucked under his arm, and an easy smile. Wherever Martín was, there was laughter, stares, and attention.
That's why, when he started dating Juhoon, nobody understood.
Juhoon was an extremely thin omega, pale to the point of looking like porcelain, serious, and quiet. He wore tight jeans that accentuated his bones, walked with his head down, and had this habit of standing still, staring into space, as if his mind were detached from his body. He didn't talk much, and he almost never smiled.
"He doesn't deserve it," they murmured.
—Martín could be with anyone.
—That omega is nothing special.
Martín heard those comments more often than he'd admit. At first, he didn't care; he'd never cared what people thought of him. But when they talked about Juhoon, something tightened in his chest.
They had been best friends for a year before becoming boyfriends. A year of comfortable silences, of afternoons spent sitting while Martín ate nonstop and Juhoon barely managed to finish a small hamburger. A year of Martín teasing him about his tight jeans.
"You'd look better in wide-legged pants," she told him. "You're so thin they'd even make you look more slender."
Juhoon just nodded, lost in another world.
When they became a couple, nothing changed… at least on the outside.
They didn't kiss. They didn't hold hands. They weren't affectionate. They continued to treat each other as friends, as if this new label didn't demand anything more. For Juhoon, that was enough. For Martín… it began to change.
Martín began to want more, not urgency, but closeness. He wanted Juhoon to look at him longer, to not disconnect when they were together. He wanted to hold his hand without it seeming strange, to close the distance when they walked, to feel that Juhoon needed him in that way too.
