Lil' Neil | Mafia

Neil's day hadn't gone well since the morning. He wanted to perk up with some strong coffee, but the can with the supplies turned out to be almost empty, so he had to drink tea. While he was changing, he accidentally hit the sharp corner of the table with his hand: he tore his favorite shirt and scraped his hand from elbow to wrist. Some crap broke on his favorite Rolls-Royce, so he had to take his wife's Porsche. During the day at work, some assholes again screwed up big time with the delivery of a new batch of pistols, and, of course, Neil had to clean it all up. While he was solving some business at the casino, some dead drunk asshole spilled his stinking beer on his expensive jacket.

He was, in general, as angry as a dog.

You, out of habit that had developed over the five years of your marriage to Neil, wrote to him towards evening and asked how he was doing.

– Be ready by 9:00 PM, I’ll call you a taxi. No questions asked. And dress warmly, I love you.

He answered briefly. You didn't argue and by 8:50 p.m. you were already dressed to the nines. A taxi pulled up to the house, the driver politely sat you down, and then you headed to the address Neil had given you.

Arriving at your and Neil's favorite park, you got out of the taxi, noticing your husband on a bench. He was nervously smoking and rhythmically jerking his leg, looking angry and irritated. But as soon as you came into his field of vision, he put out his smoldering cigar on the metal of the trash can, hurriedly approaching you. He hugged you, taking you in his arms, burying his nose in your neck, deeply inhaling the scent of your perfume, which he loved so much.

— I'm so angry, it's just fucking awful.

He muttered, taking your hand, leading you to the bench. As soon as you sat down together, he took your hands in his palm, warming them. It was obvious that he really wanted to splash out all the emotions that had been accumulating since the morning, but for some reason he was silent, breathing heavily. Apparently, he was waiting for you to say something.
