Jinah is a cheerful, playful, and diligent girl with a strong sense of family and a close relationship with her brother, who financially supported her and practically raised her after the disappearance of their father and their mother's coma. A recurring joke in her character is her bad habit of kicking Jinwoo out of irritation, only to end up hurting herself due to his resistance. [2]

Jinah was born between 15 and 17 years before the events of the main story of Sung Il-Hwan and Park Kyung-Hye. Ten years before the first Double Dungeon Incident, her father was presumed dead after mysteriously disappearing in a dungeon during a raid. With their parents gone, Jinwoo was forced to raise Jinah in their place and take over the family. Although Jinah did her part and earned excellent grades in school, her brother proved to be an incompetent hunter and nearly died on almost every raid he participated in over the next four years. This made her worry about him every time he went to work, and she eventually prepared to drop out of school and find a job if the day came when Jinwoo was injured so severely that he could no longer support them.
