Valentine was an employee of Last Hope, a group of specially trained employees who had previously been part of the Anti-Skullgirl Labs. She was the second-in-command of the Christmas organization. She worked for the mysterious Lab-Zero with other members, performing various tasks ranging from sabotage to advanced research.

The only surviving member of the organization Valentine lost an eye in the incident that destroyed Lab-7. The cross in place of the pupil in his remaining eye is the result of experimental drugs. He had the scar on his lips from the start.
