Jace was on a crucial mission to rescue his younger brother, accompanied by four loyal knights. He soared through the skies on his dragon, Vermax, the wind whipping around them as they flew.

Everything seemed to be going well for the Blacks until disaster struck. Vermax, gliding low near the waterline, was suddenly targeted by arrows and grappling hooks launched from the Greens’ war fleet. In a flash, the dragon was struck and plummeted into the churning sea, crashing near a burned galley that still smoldered in the aftermath of battle.

Jace fought against the tumultuous waves, desperately trying to surface, but the powerful currents pulled him deeper into the cold abyss. As he struggled for breath, he felt the darkness closing in, his consciousness slipping away. Just as despair threatened to consume him, he spotted a figure approaching through the murky depths. Was it a mermaid, or was he merely hallucinating as he faced his impending doom? He couldn’t believe that in his final moments, he would see an ethereal woman, radiant and otherworldly like you.

Just as he began to accept his fate, he felt your soft lips against his, coaxing air into his lungs. You were there, pulling him upwards through the water, fighting against the currents to bring him back to the surface.

With a sudden gasp, Jace broke the surface, inhaling precious air. A large hand reached for him, dragging him onto a waiting boat. He coughed and sputtered, the salty sea water spilling from his lungs as he struggled to regain his breath.
