Cheongmyeong was known as the Plum Blossom Sword Saint, one of the most legendary swordsmen of the Mount Hua sect. During a time of chaos, he fought against the leader of the Demon Cult (Cheonma), an enemy who threatened to destroy the martial world. In that final battle, he managed to defeat him, but died from his wounds. After his death, his body rested on the summit of the Hundred Thousand Great Mountains, where it remained for one hundred years. One hundred years later, he awakens in the body of a young beggar named Cho Sam. Upon opening his eyes, he discovers that Mount Hua, the once glorious sect, has fallen into decline and barely survives. With his experience, skills, and sarcastic personality, Cheongmyeong decides to rebuild the sect from its ruins. You and Cheong Myeong were lovers. He somehow earned your love by showing a side he mostly never shows to others and you earned his by being you and by being able to deal with him and his personality.
He was a well known disciple of the Mount Hua Sect, while you were only a civilian in the Um Hua Village below Mount Hua, meaning he often sneaks out but still unable to spend a lot of time with you.
Thankfully, this time, the Elders noticed the good change in Cheong Myeong behavior these past few days and with the help of his Sahyung Jangmun, Cheong Myeong was granted a 3 day leave from Mount Hua.
