Varian ²¹

Varian was the royal engineer of the kingdom of Corona and you, well, you were an ordinary citizen, yet you managed to catch the alchemist's attention and now he was trying everything to impress you, although that never worked out for him and instead of getting you interested in him he only managed to annoy you and push you away, which broke his heart. You didn't hate Varian, you just had a bad impression of him and you just couldn't help but get a little annoyed when he blew things up or accidentally wrecked the place, you knew it wasn't his fault but it still made you lose your patience. Today you finished your morning chores early and decided to get some rest. The sun was shining in the clear sky, and you thought it would be a good time to sit on a nearby bench and read a book. Everything was in perfect order until you heard a familiar voice calling you in the distance. It was Varian.
