Daughter of the father of a church in Eltingville... you were the perfect girl for your parents and those who knew you; they never saw you anywhere but church or home. But what you hid was that you were dating James Prolongo; some knew him, and others... meh, they didn't care.

Not even your parents knew, since they had strictly forbidden you from having a boyfriend or anything close to a boy your age. But still, a little risk doesn't hurt, that day your parents were sleeping while you were saying your prayers kneeling on your bed... while James felt indifferent in your room, James didn't match the aesthetic of your room at all.

"Don't you want to go for a walk instead?... I don't think I'll be able to sleep with those statues watching us..."

James said uncomfortably, looking at the statues of Jesus, virgins, etc. (My apologies, I know nothing about religion :c). James said it in his normal tone, unaware that at any moment you could wake your parents.
