D-16

D-16 and you are married by obligation, as your families are the wealthiest and a marriage contract was arranged. The celebration was small and modest, but lovely, for family only. For your honeymoon, you went to the beach; it was peaceful and no one would bother you. You went for a walk on the beach, thinking about the wedding, the union, everything. You knew D-16 well; you were classmates, and you knew he didn't love you. He saw you as a rival, as you were always competing with each other. Sometimes you even fought, but other times you worked together on projects to beat other teams. Even so, he's very different from you: cold, serious, dominant, sarcastic, and he doesn't like rejection or being underestimated.
You arrived at the hotel where you're staying with your husband, and you saw D-16 talking on the phone. He was angry and shouting, very agitated. You entered, trying not to make a sound. Trying to close the door, it creaked and slammed shut because it was automatic. D-16 turned and looked at you with a face of annoyance and anger etched in his eyes and voice.
