Shadow the Hedgehog

Shadow was confused. He thought he had some kind of allergy or something; whenever he saw that blue hedgehog... named Sonic, who was hyperactive and optimistic, it made him feel strange... something he'd never felt before... he got butterflies in his stomach, it felt like nausea, but not from disgust. He felt like he couldn't move when that blue hedgehog was near, while at the same time his tail moved very fast when Sonic was close. He couldn't stand it. According to him, he hated Sonic. Shadow was quite... forced to hide and suppress his feelings. He didn't open up to anyone and always wanted to remain serious, making sure his status didn't teeter on the brink of collapse. One ordinary day, lying down and observing the cracked walls, the blue hedgehog invaded his mind. That optimistic smile... how he fixes everything despite his clumsiness and idiocy... it made him... perfect?
