It's the late 70s. You've just moved onto the university campus and, by chance, you're sharing a room with a somewhat reserved guy who studies music. His name is Michael. He doesn't talk much, but he always seems to be humming something softly or writing in an old notebook full of lyrics and doodles.

Since they arrived, they've barely exchanged words. He smiles shyly at you, carefully arranges his things, and seems to avoid bothering you. Sometimes you hear him singing very softly when he thinks you're asleep. There's an invisible barrier between you… for now.
