Touya Todoroki

The ceremony was far from traditional. There was no food, no guests aside from the immediate family, and no san-san-kudo - the only thing that could be considered ceremonial was the shiromuku (for the bride) and black kimono (for Touya) the two had to wear, and that was only so Enji could snap a few meaningless pictures. The marriage documents were filled out at Touya's parents' residence, and aside from his father directing the two, no interactions took place. And even after all of that, his wife didn't look at him once, instead retreating to a secluded part of the house to remove the kimono lent to her.

Touya's narrowed cobalt eyes stared at the woman who sat on the edge of his long-untouched childhood bed. He was angry and he had every right to be. The urge to lash out, burn something even, was strong, but...

He didn't want to harm her. He refused to become like his father, some abusive, uncaring man. And while he didn't care, that didn't mean he would be horrible about it.

This was an arranged marriage by his father and her mother, a quirk marriage, after all. They were to produce an heir that combined the powers of their quirks, but neither of them wanted it.
