His desire to surpass the number one hero has spilled over into his children, whom he only "created" in the hope of having offspring who could surpass All Might. This obsession takes precedence over his family, which has completely ruined Enji's relationship with his children. Enji clearly displayed a selfish attitude, caring only for himself and his goals, as demonstrated by the constant abuse he inflicted on his wife and son, Shoto Todoroki, during Shoto's childhood. However, he constantly pressures Shoto to try to surpass himself and Toshinori Yagi. He uses Shoto as a tool to advance his own ambitions, even going so far as to refer to his other children as "things" who live in a different world than he and Shoto.

Appearance Enji Todoroki is a tall, muscular man with short, spiky red hair and bright turquoise eyes. His beard and mustache appear to be made of fire, but when he voluntarily extinguishes the flames on his face, his natural beard is noticeable, which is the same color and texture as his hair.[8]

His hero costume consists of a navy blue suit with flames flowing across his chest, arms, and especially his shoulders. He uses his flames as a fire mask, and his boots also appear to be made of flames, with black laces tied in a bow and white soles. He also wears white armbands with a cage design, and a black belt with a gold buckle and a white pouch attached to the right side.

After being officially named the Number One Hero, his hero costume changed. His gauntlets were redesigned to look sharper, more like armor, and now completely cover his arms. Small holes on the backs of his hands allow him to unleash a torrent of flames if needed, and his fingers are now exposed from the knuckles to the base. His suit now features large, flame-encrusted bands across his torso. He also sports new shoulder pads and a belt that appear to be made of the same material as his gauntlets.

Skills General abilities: Endeavor was second in the ranking of heroes in Japan before taking first place after All Might's retirement, so he is considered one of the most powerful heroes, proving his worth during the fight against the League of Villains, in which he managed to capture and defeat a large number of Nomus without suffering any damage.

Immense Strength: Endeavor is extremely strong, so much so that he managed to break the arm of a Black Nomu with a single blow. Immense Durability: Endeavor possesses superhuman durability. He emerged unscathed when All For One sent him flying with a shockwave. In his fight against Hood, he withstood multiple attacks and continued fighting. He remained conscious after one of Hood's attacks pierced his left eye and was able to move even after his excessive use of Hell Flame burned away much of his motor function. After the fight, he was able to stand and walk with Hawks' assistance. It took him only a few days to recover from his severe injuries and walk as if nothing had happened. Intelligence: Endeavor dedicated himself to his studies after realizing he wouldn't surpass All Might in power, and for this reason, he developed into a skilled detective (which is why he has the highest number of solved cases in history). He possesses highly developed deductive abilities, as shown when he deduced where the Hero Killer would attack, or when he deduced that the Black Nomus were special because of their regenerative abilities, and immediately realized that High End was also special within that group. He was able to quickly decipher Hawks' encrypted message about the Superpower Liberation Army and its connection to the League of Villains.

Indomitable Will: One of Endeavor's most prominent traits is his ability to never give up, befitting his hero name. This was demonstrated in two notable instances: first, when he continued to close the gap between himself and All Might despite their differences in abilities, pushing his limits despite his injuries in his battle against Hood. Second, upon seeing his former self reflected in Hood, he resolved to abandon the wayward and virulent individual he had always been and used that resolve to transcend his physical limitations to ultimately defeat the high-end Nomu, all while shouting "Plus Ultra," the motto of UA Academy. Hell Flame (ヘルフレイム Heru Fureimu, lit. Hell Flame): Endeavor's Quirk allows him to produce and manipulate fire to cover himself, throw it, and shape it, giving him a wide range of uses. He is seemingly immune to other flames and can easily control their shape and temperature.

However, after performing several high-intensity attacks with his fire, his motor functions are reduced and affected by overheating in his body.

Super moves Furious Attack: Hell Minefield (烈れっ火か蹂じゅう躙りんヘルマインフィールド Rekka Jūrin Herumainfīrudo ?): This super move allows Endeavor to generate a wave of intense flames on the ground that attack the enemy through a kind of eruption.[11] Karmic Attack: Hellfire Storm (業ごう火か燎りょう原げんヘルファイアストーム Gōka Ryōgen Herufaiasutōmu ?): This super move allows Endeavor to create a powerful tornado of flames that burns all opponents within its range. Incandescent Fist (赫灼熱拳 Kaku Shakunekken): Endeavor's original super move. This raises the temperature of his fire to its highest level and maximizes its power. By doing so, he can unleash devastating flame attacks or dramatically increase his speed.

Jet Burn (赫灼熱拳 ジェットバーン Kaku Shakunetsu-ken Jettobān ?): Endeavor concentrates the heat of his flames in his left fist and releases it creating a beam of fire. He first used it in his fight against Hood. Hell Spider (赫灼熱拳 ヘルスパイダー Kaku Shakunekken Heru Supaidā ?): Endeavor creates distinct bursts of fire and manipulates them into a web-like net. It was first used to try to capture Hood. He can also swing them like whips that are capable of cutting through buildings. Incandescent Fist: Hell's Curtain (赫灼熱拳 ヘル カーテイン Kaku Shakunekken Heru Kātein ?): Endeavor throws both of his fists back while concentrating all of his flames into a single point. He then throws his arms forward, emitting a massive blanket of flames over his opponent. He first used this move against Tomura Shigaraki in the Paranormal Liberation War. Incandescent Arrow (イグナイテッドアロー Igunaiteddo Arō ?): Using this attack, Endeavor pulls his arm back and fires a scorching arrow of flames. Prominence Burn (プロミネンスバーン Purominensu Bān ?): Endeavor greatly increases the heat of his body and then creates an immense amount of flames of fire, then channels them and launches them in the form of a gigantic beam of fire. He used it for the first time in his fight against Hood. Vanishing Fist (バニシングフィスト Banishingu Fisuto ?): Endeavor rushes towards his opponent while engulfing his arm in flames before launching a powerful uppercut with his fist. This move was first used against Tomura Shigaraki during the Paranormal Liberation War Arc.

Appearance Rei has straight, shoulder-length white hair with fairly long bangs framing her face and tired, grayish-brown eyes with fairly long eyelashes, but in her youth she wore her hair quite short. Ten years ago, she was mostly seen wearing a simple t-shirt and jeans. Currently, since she is in a psychiatric ward, she wears patient clothing. Unknown Ice Quirk: Grants the ability to generate ice. This Quirk is very powerful, as it impressed Enji Todoroki enough to desire offspring with a combination of this Quirk and his own. Users of this Quirk are sensitive to heat and prefer cooler climates.

He also finds it difficult to talk to him without becoming angry after his father begins to change. OCCUPATION Teacher Personality: Fuyumi seems to be a naturally nervous person. She cares deeply for her family, as she was surprised when her brother went to see their mother. She is very close to her mother, as seen when she visited her along with her brother Natsuo, who likes to joke around.

Despite her nervousness surrounding her father, she didn't seem to harbor any resentment towards him and was horrified to see him injured by a villain's attack. She also revealed that she was enjoying seeing her father change and Shoto visiting their mother, even stating that she wanted them to be like a real family. Fuyumi is also a kind and cheerful person when she's with people, as when she invited Izuku and Katsuki to her house for a meal and thanked them for being good friends with her brother.

The feeling that "I couldn't do anything for Shoto" remains in her heart. Appearance Fuyumi is a young woman of average height with turquoise eyes (gray in the anime). She has white hair, flecked with some noticeable traces of crimson, which is mostly shoulder-length, apart from the side-swept bangs that reach her ear and the small strands that hang from her forehead.

She has a voluptuous figure, and in her debut she was seen wearing a white decorative collared shirt with rolled-up sleeves and several decorative lines under a light pink long-sleeved sweater, dark blue tight-fitting jeans, and a pair of brown shoes.

He is also rather rude; in his first encounter with Tomura Shigaraki, he displayed a lack of manners and was disrespectful to Tomura, who was supposed to be his leader, expressing his dislike for him and saying he was disappointed that Tomura was going to be his superior. He has a cynical view of heroes and often alludes to the ideal heroes follow of protecting people's lives before their own, and he enjoys exposing their hypocrisy. Similar to Spinner, Toya is a loyal follower of Stain the Hero Killer because he thinks similarly to him after having personally experienced it in his childhood.

Toya is a mass murderer who feels no respect for the lives of his victims, whom he sees as nothing more than trash. In his search for new members for the League of Villains, he once encountered a group of villains and, seeing that they were unsuitable to join, killed them with his blue flames, incinerating their bodies without a shred of pity.

Despite appearing as a murderer and a very apathetic person, deep down he also harbors feelings that he expresses when alone, as happens after murdering Snatch who had asked him if he never thought about the families of the victims he murdered, to which Toya thinks aloud that he feels guilty for his actions.

He harbors a deep resentment towards his parents due to the harm they inflicted upon him as a child. After revealing his true identity to his father and everyone else present, Toya proved to be mentally unstable, declaring that his sole purpose in life was to destroy his father and ruin his life, causing him immense suffering. When Shoto confronts him about Ending's attack in which Natsuo nearly died, he remains indifferent, exclaiming that he doesn't care since he no longer feels anything for anyone. He also exposed the hypocrisy of heroes to the entire nation with a recording, stating that these "heroes" whom people admire so much only think of themselves and urging them to open their eyes. He illustrates this by showing Twice's murder at Hawks' hands. He also displays a sadistic and deranged side, expressing his madness and twisted glee. He seems to enjoy inflicting any kind of pain on Endeavor, as seen when he attacks Nejire and gloats, saying that another boy's future has been burned by Endeavor's flames. His resentment and hatred toward his father are the only things that have kept him alive all these years and pushed him beyond the limits of his emaciated body. Appearance: When he joins the Vanguard Action Squad, his appearance is updated. He wears a larger, dark blue coat with two large metal cuffs at the end of each elbow-length sleeve and a white stitch design on each shoulder, the hem ripped and extending to his knees. His shirt and belt remain the same, but he replaces his trousers with larger ones in a darker color, and his shoes...

General Abilities: Having been trained by his father since childhood and undergone self-training, Toya has proven to be a highly capable villain, being one of the strongest members of the Vanguard Action Squad as well as its leader. He has the power and cunning to deal with a multitude of heroes, and after joining the League of Villains, Dabi killed over thirty people, earning him a reputation as a dangerous criminal and a notorious mass murderer in Japan. It was noted that the Toya doubles created by Twice were weaker than the real villain, but still strong enough to hold off both Vlad King and Eraserhead during the Forest Invasion. Dabi was able to easily repel Bakugo's escort squad and ultimately restrained Katsuki Bakugo with one hand. He is powerful enough to defeat and kill even a professional hero. He managed to burn Snatch, causing his near-instant death, thanks to his collaboration with Mr. Compress. During the Superpower Liberation Army Arc, he went toe-to-toe with Geten, a very powerful member with highly competent control over his Quirk.

Later, during the Paranormal Liberation War, he again demonstrated his power by easily overwhelming Hawks, the number two hero, Fumikage Tokoyami, Shoto Todoroki, two of the strongest students in Class 1-A, and Nejire Hado, part of the Big Three, using the power of his intense blue flames. Keen Intellect: Toya has proven to be quite intelligent and strategic. He devised a plan to send doubles of himself to distract the pro heroes while he trapped the students in the forest, suffering three casualties among the villains after capturing Katsuki. He is very observant of his surroundings, whether it's reading someone's intentions or the weaknesses in their Quirks. He easily identified the instability

He is aware that his body is not able to tolerate the heat of his flames, so when entering combat and reaching his limit, as a way of gaining time to recover, he is prone to talk to his adversaries giving speeches and monologues in which he releases his mental and emotional instability, capturing the attention of his opponent so that he lowers his guard and overwhelms him with his flames once recovered. Hawks realized this when he saw that in their confrontation, despite having him down on the ground and completely overwhelmed by his gift, Hawks did not give him the coup de grace, but instead began to talk to him while expressing his annoyance with the winged hero for ruining his personal plans.

He managed to copy and imitate Endeavor's super moves, albeit adding his own style of usage, on his own after spending years planning his revenge against Enji Todoroki.

He was very cautious and meticulous in creating a plan to reveal his identity to his father. Not only did he prepare a video confessing his identity and Endeavor's sins to his family in advance, but he also managed to record and edit Twice's death at the hands of Hawks by carrying a camera in his clothing at the moment he attacked Hawks by surprise. Also, to validate his words, he took a blood sample from that time when he attacked Endeavor in Kyushu and had a DNA test done.

Gift: Blue Flame grants him the ability to instantly generate highly destructive blue flames from his body, expelling them at will from any part of his body with minimal effort. However, his body has a low tolerance for his own flames and he will burn himself if he uses them for extended periods of time.

His blue flames burn at temperatures exceeding 2300°F (1300°C). This allows Toya to burn wood, rock, and cement, and nearly reaches the melting point of iron. Offensively, Dabi uses his flames to create fireballs, flamethrower-like attacks, and fire blasts. Defensively, Dabi can generate enough flames to form massive walls of fire to surround his targets. Physically speaking, his fire can suffocate victims to death by consuming only the necessary oxygen.

Super moves Incandescent Fist (赫灼熱拳 Kaku Shakunekken): Endeavor's original super move, later passed on to Dabi himself. This raises the temperature of his fire to its highest level and maximizes its power. By doing so, Dabi can unleash devastating flame attacks or dramatically increase his speed.[3] Incandescent Fist: Jet Burn (赫灼熱拳 ジェットバーン Kaku Shakunetsu-ken Jettobān ?): Like his father, Dabi unleashes a powerful burst of fire at the enemy, though unlike him, Dabi only shoots fire instead of striking his opponent. This was first seen being used against his younger brother, Shoto.[4] Prominence Burn (プロミネンスバーン Purominensu Bān): This move allows Dabi to unleash a massive, concentrated beam of fire from his entire body, capable of vaporizing his target. Dabi nearly used this move at full power against Endeavor, but was intercepted by Best Jeanist's sudden arrival on the battlefield.

Focused and unemotional, Shoto preferred to keep to himself rather than socialize. However, after the events of the Sports Festival, Shoto became noticeably more sociable and friendly, even developing a sense of humor and occasionally smiling, though he still retains some traces of his former aloofness. After the Remedial Course, he began to open up more to his classmates and has softened from his generally serious demeanor. Nevertheless, Shoto is still not accustomed to socializing, as he can be somewhat dense when it comes to understanding certain ways of speaking. While generally quiet and reserved, Shoto initially possessed a moderate level of arrogance, which, combined with his solitary tendencies, sometimes led him to take the initiative without considering the opinions of others, displaying confidence that he could overcome any obstacle with his own strength.

Appearance Shoto is a fairly tall young man, standing at 1.76 meters, and well-built for his age of 15. He has slightly long hair, though it doesn't reach his neck, and wears bangs parted twice to avoid obstructing his vision. His hair is evenly divided between two colors: white on his right side and crimson red on his left. This unusual coloring is due to his Quirk. As another result, he also possesses heterochromia iridium, which makes the iris of his left eye turquoise, while the right is a grayish-brown. His eyes are rather thin and reserved, and he also has a large burn scar on the left side of his face, extending from his hairline to the middle of his cheek. Despite this, several of the girls in his class have stated that he is handsome; Mina Ashido even went so far as to say that he is the cutest boy in Class 1-A.

During school hours he wears the normal male UA uniform, replacing the usual brown dress shoes with casual pale cyan and gray laces.

In his initial hero costume, he wears a plain white shirt with matching pants and boots, and two gold straps over his shoulders. He has what appears to be an ice-like material covering his entire left side, including his head, though it's detachable, which he uses to suppress the fire aspect of his Quirk.

His updated hero costume consists of a dark blue jacket with elbow-length sleeves, a high collar, and a gray collar fastened in the center; wide-legged trousers of the same color; a metal-plated combat vest; and white boots with soles and a thin, paler gray stripe running down the center of each. He also wears a brown utility belt around his waist, with small metal capsules containing medical supplies hanging from the front.

Skills General Abilities: Having been trained by his father at a young age, Shoto entered U.A. High School through recommendations and has established himself as one of the strongest students in Class 1-A. He placed second in both the Quirk Apprehension Test and the U.A. Sports Festival. Shoto also has great control over his versatile and powerful Quirk, which grants him incredible dual abilities. Using the right side of his body, Shoto can drastically lower temperatures and freeze anything he touches. He can quickly freeze entire buildings, as well as instantly create massive waves of ice. Despite his incredible raw power, Shoto possesses great control and direction over his right side. He can restrain the ice to avoid fatally freezing someone or use precision attacks to freeze only certain parts of a target's body. When fighting alongside others, he is able to cover enemy territory with ice while simultaneously preventing it from hindering his allies. Shoto is able to mold ice into various shapes for support, such as protective barriers, ladders for elevation, or a moving wave of ice for navigation. He also has numerous mobility options, such as stacking ice fragments behind his back to propel himself forward or freezing the ground to skate on. From the left side of his body, Shoto can drastically increase temperatures and unleash blazing flames. When he ignites these flames, the resulting fire engulfs his arm and the left side of his head. He can also fire consuming streams of fire or protective short bursts. After upgrading his suit to help him control his temperature, the flames only ignite in Shoto's hand, demonstrating greater control over his left side.

Overall, Shoto possesses tremendous power, but due to past decisions and circumstances, such as his intentional neglect of half of his Quirk, he has yet to reach his full potential. And while Shoto may have complete mastery over ice, his control over fire is still relatively inept, especially compared to Endeavor's.

During the USJ Incident, Shoto was able to easily overpower the smaller villains in the Landslide Zone, and later displayed elite judgment, combat awareness, and athletic ability during the UA Sports Festival. In his battle against Izuku, one fan claimed that Shoto was already stronger than the average Pro Hero. In the final round of the Sports Festival, in which he faced Katsuki, there was a chance that Shoto could have won the match using his fire powers, but due to internal turmoil, he essentially gave up by deactivating his flames, leaving him open to Katsuki's finishing attack and losing the match. Enhanced Durability: Shoto has proven to be quite durable, able to withstand multiple attacks from Izuku, including a 5% enhanced One For All direct hit to the stomach, without suffering serious injuries. Enhanced Stamina: Shoto has shown to be able to endure combat even when injured, such as in his battle with Stain where he can continue fighting and supporting his allies despite suffering multiple hemorrhaging wounds on his arm and face and still drag the villain's unconscious body once the battle is over.

Enhanced Agility: Shoto is fast, agile, and has quick reflexes. He was able to maintain first place for most of the Obstacle Course during the sports festival thanks to his athletic ability. He was also able to create walls of ice in a split second to prevent being knocked out of the ring during his battles with Izuku and Katsuki. He was also able to partially dodge a knife thrown at his face and several other attacks from Stain, a remarkably agile opponent. Sharp Intellect: Shoto has proven to be highly intelligent. During the USJ incident, Shoto surmised that the villains had a Quirk user among their ranks who could jam communications. He realized that the attacking villains had some kind of agenda and interrogated some of them to get answers. Shoto's theory was correct, as the villain's goal was to kill All Might. Shoto deduced that Izuku had a connection to All Might after experiencing Izuku's power and combining it with witnessing All Might fighting Nomu. While he was right in deducing that Izuku had a connection to the hero, he incorrectly believed that Izuku might be the secret son of All Might from an affair. He was able to find out the location of Izuku, Tenya Iida, and Stain from an emergency call and arrive in time, though he complained that it took a while. Despite his training, Shoto is also very academically gifted, as he ranked fifth in the midterm exams. During the match between Momo Yaoyorozu and Itsuka Kendo's class teams, Shoto notices a flaw in Itsuka's cautious strategy of separating Momo from her teammates. He points out that if she truly intended to be cautious with Momo, Itsuka would have overwhelmed her entire team from the start of the match. After witnessing Izuku's recent awakening of a second Quirk, Shoto deduces that Izuku might be like him.

Quirk: Half Cold Half Hot (半はん冷れい半はん燃ねん Hanrei Hannen): Shoto's Quirk grants him the ability to freeze with the right half of his body and burn with the left. The appendages on his right side can drastically reduce the temperature of anything they touch, enough to create large waves of ice. The limbs on his left side generate heat, allowing Shoto to create and shoot streams of fire.

The drawback of his Quirk stems from his need to maintain his own body temperature, as excessive use of his ice power causes Shoto to suffer from frostbite. The frost covering his body physically slows him down and weakens the strength and speed of his ice attacks. However, this weakness can be countered if Shoto uses his left side to compensate for the low temperature. The side effect of prolonged use of his fire side has not yet been revealed, as he has never overused it.

As Stain pointed out, one of Shoto's biggest weaknesses is his heavy reliance on the devastating power of his Quirk. Another drawback is that Shoto can't fully control the fire and ice he generates. While he's capable of using both abilities simultaneously, he's stated that he's not used to doing so and still needs practice mastering his Quirk. Super Moves: Sky-Piercing Ice Wall (穿が天てん氷ひょう壁へき Gaten Hyōheki): Shoto creates a massive ice glacier, which can encase his opponent or freeze the immediate battlefield. This move is first used in his battle against Hanta Sero at the Sports Festival, but it isn't named until the final exams. He noticed Sero was more powerful than necessary, but Sero was irritated (from talking to Endeavor) and overreacted. A variation of this movement, slightly smaller in size but more controllable, is shown in his battle against Katsuki.

Wall of Flames (炎ほのおの壁かべ Honō no Kabe): Shoto uses his left side to generate a burst of flames that covers a large area. This is both a defensive and offensive attack, similar to his Sky-Piercing Ice Wall technique. It can be used to attack multiple opponents and create space between Shoto and his target. Shoto first used this attack against Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu during the Joint Training Battle with Class 1-B. Cold Air Heat Wave (膨ぼう冷れい熱ねっ波ぱ Bōrei Neppa): To use this super move, Shoto first cools the air around him with his ice powers. Then, by switching to his fire powers, Shoto rapidly heats up and expands the air around him. This allows him to unleash a superheated explosion. Incandescent Fist (赫かく灼しゃく熱ねっ拳けん Kaku Shakunekken): Endeavor's original super move, later passed on to Shoto himself. This raises the temperature of his fire to its highest level and maximizes its power. By doing so, he can unleash devastating flame attacks or dramatically increase his speed. Incandescent Fist: Hell Spider (赫灼熱拳 ヘルスパイダー Kaku Shakunekken Heru Supaidā ?) Shoto concentrates his fire and emits it from his fingertips, allowing him to cut objects. Use this attack for the first time to destroy the lasers in a Humarise base.Glow Fist: Jet Kindling (赫かく灼しゃく熱ねっ拳けん 噴ふん流りゅう熾し炎えん Kaku Shakunekken Funryūshien ?): Shoto concentrates his flames on a hot spot on his fist and strikes his opponent. Upon contact, a violent burst of flames erupts from Shoto's arm, severely burning his target. Shoto first uses this attack against Leviathan in the final battle against Humarise. Incandescent Fist: Phosphor (赫かく灼しゃく熱ねっ拳けん 燐りん Kaku Shakunekken Rin ?) Shoto circulates both halves of his Quirk throughout his body, fusing fire and ice into one. This Super Move also serves as the basis for other moves Shoto uses.

Ice Shock: Pale Leaf of Cold Fire (凍しみ凍こおる衝しょう撃げき 冷れい炎えん白はく刃じん Shimi Kōru Shōgeki - Reien Hakujin ?) Using the combined powers of Phosphor, Shoto throws a chunk of combined fire and ice at his opponent, launching him a great distance backward. Great Aegir Glacier (大だい氷ひょう海かい嘯しょう Daihyō Kaishō ?) Shoto gathers his fire and ice, then rushes towards his opponent, punches him and unleashes a huge wave of cold fire, capable of extinguishing the hottest flames, as well as completely covering a large section of terrain in ice. Equipment Hero Suit: The second suit Shoto has worn, it's designed to optimize the use of both his fire and ice powers in combat, as well as to minimize the drawbacks of his Quirk as much as possible. Temperature-Resistant Jacket: Shoto's blue jacket is made of a special fire-resistant fiber. There's a special device near the collar that detects Shoto's body temperature and adjusts the vest accordingly. Combat vest: The device on Shoto's back is able to detect his body temperature and automatically heats or cools it accordingly. Shoto requested that his original suit have a heating device. Utility belt: There are metal capsules in Shoto's belt that contain water, painkillers, and disinfectants, making it a first aid kit. Snow Boots: Shoto is equipped with a pair of white snow boots with spikes under the soles that prevent him from slipping on his own ice. Later, they are upgraded with straps that cross the front of the boots. Wristbands: As an upgrade to his costume, Shoto received new wristbands made of the same material as his vest. They appear to help Shoto control the temperature of his ice and flames by preventing the extreme temperatures from rising up his arms to his upper body.
