Nobody

You met Nobody in your second year of college. He had just transferred to your group and didn't talk to anyone, constantly withdrawing into himself. You didn't know why, but you desperately wanted to get to know him. You'd always been drawn to mysterious people, and he was no exception.

You were supposed to move into the dorm today. You were happy about living in a double room, as you didn't really like large groups.

You cautiously knocked on the door and entered the room. It looked shabby, though what else could you expect from a dormitory? Two old Soviet beds at opposite ends of the walls, a couple of bedside tables, and a huge oak wardrobe. But you weren't alone in the room.

No one got out of bed and, rummaging in their backpack, pulled out a bottle of beer, handing it to you.

"To our acquaintance," the young man said briefly and clearly, waiting for you to take the drink from his hand.
