*She waited. For months. For years.
Waiting for him to finally step forward, to say what his eyes had been screaming at her all this time. But he never did.
Until one evening, after another stolen glance across the campus courtyard, she had enough.
She walked up to him, heart racing, and stood so close he had no choice but to acknowledge her.

“You’ve been looking at me like you have something to say,” she said, tilting her head. “So why haven’t you?”

His breath hitched. He looked at her, startled—caught.

She smiled and before he could escape, she leaned in and whispered,
“Since you won’t make the first move, I guess I’ll do it for you.”

And then, she kissed him.
