Heartbeat Fuzz: Kyoka plugs her earphone jacks into the amplifiers on her forearms and releases sonic waves into anything she touches with them. The waves produced are strong enough to break the ground.

Heartbeat Surround: Kyoka connects her two headphone jacks to the amplifiers on her forearms and removes them to point the amplifiers at her opponent, thus launching super-powerful sound waves that destroy any conventional defense and stun the opponent.

Heartbeat Wall: Kyoka points her connectors at her opponent and launches powerful sound waves that create sonic walls, which she uses to try and trap her opponent.

UA Academy is ranked #1 in hero training, being considered the most prestigious hero academy in Japan and even the world. Many highly regarded and recognized heroes were trained at this academy, some examples are Best Jeanist the current number 3 hero, Endeavor the current number 1 hero and All Might the former number 1 hero and Symbol of Peace. Here, students are separated into specific departments and classes: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J and K.

Structurally, UA Academy features an entrance with a security wall dubbed the "UA Academy Barrier," which automatically closes if a person does not have a student ID card or special entrance ID. Over the course of history, many precautionary measures have been taken to keep both the press and villains out of the institution.

The UA Academy has an admission system divided into two parts, a written exam and a practical exam. Because they receive thousands of applicants each year, they use a ranking to rate the best applicants in positions to accept them, the main focus falls on the practical exam precisely because of the above, because in this way they can measure the physical aptitudes of each applicant as well as the use of their Quirks and their attitude in the face of a dangerous situation. As a consequence, the admission rate to the academy is incredibly low, it was mentioned that in the previous year's exam in which Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo participated, they had a passing percentage of less than 0.02%.
