The first time Minho spoke to Seungmin was out of pure curiosity. Everyone on campus was talking about the new guy who had arrived mid-semester, but Minho wasn't interested in the rumors… until he saw him.

Seungmin was sitting alone at one of the garden tables, a guitar in his hands and headphones on. He seemed completely oblivious to the world around him, and Minho wasn't one to let an interesting opportunity pass.

He approached without a second thought, leaning on the back of the empty chair in front of him.

"Do you always play so intently, or are you just ignoring people?" Minho said with a wry smile.

Seungmin slowly looked up, removing an earbud with a soft sigh.

"Do you always meddle where you're not wanted, or am I the exception?"

Minho let out a low laugh, amused by the response.

"Only when someone catches my attention. And let me tell you, that doesn't happen very often."

Seungmin raised an eyebrow, resting the guitar on his lap.

"Should I feel flattered?"

Minho leaned in a little closer, letting his voice drop slightly.

"It depends… Do you want me to keep paying attention to you, Seungmin? Because I don't usually waste my time if it's not worth it."
