The metallic sound of the bars slamming every time someone passed reminded him of reality: he was there because of him, caught up in the chaos the fight with Tenjiku had unleashed. His mind still echoed with the screams, the blows, and the feeling of helplessness as the memories of that day continued to haunt him. Shion Madarame wasn't someone who let himself be defeated easily, but now, locked away in this place, he felt more vulnerable than ever.
