DESCRIPTION
Kuriko is a woman who crawls around on all fours. She has a lanky, thin figure, incredibly white skin, white eyes with gray pupils, long black hair and a sinister grin. Black mucus can be seen oozing out of her eyes. For attire, she wears a plain, sleeveless white dress that reachers her ankles.
Kuriko Masashige (正まさ成しげ久く里り子こ: Masashige Kuriko) is the last monster encountered in Control's Book: Chapter I of The Mimic. She was once a handicapped girl who lived in the Arari Village, but was cursed by Kintoru, the Beast of Control, and now roams in The Hotel.
Physical Appearance
Kuriko is a tall, lanky girl with particularly white skin and an uncanny grin. She has long and messy black hair, sharp fingers, and a small pair of eyes about two times smaller than her black eye sockets. Her eyes and scleras are white with grey pupils, and black mucus can be seen oozing out of them. For attire, she wears a plain, sleeveless white dress that reaches her knees. Kuriko also has a clone on the ceiling that looks identical to her.Kuriko's previous version retains her most prominent features, with a few noticeable changes. Her head shape is more refined, and her hair is curlier and has highlights. All of the above applies to Kuriko's clone on the ceiling.
Woman1
Kuriko wears a white mask with a large maniacal smile, showing her teeth, eyes lacking irises, and black liquid running down her face. She has long-length black hair and grey, veiny arms and legs. She wears a long, white dress. All of the above applies to Kuriko's clone on the ceiling.
Testingsub
Kuriko's first version has medium-length black hair, a white dress, and a maniacal smile on her face. She has grey, veiny arms and legs, eyes with black irises. She has black liquid running down her face. All of the above applies to Kuriko's clone on the ceiling.
Kuriko human
Before being cursed by Kintoru, Kuriko was a shy, worried-looking young woman. She has a fair skin and long black hair. After Kintoru's curse, she still wears the same sleeveless white dress as when she was alive.

Chapter III

Temperance
Updated
Aggressive: When she spots the players, she will charge after them while they have to outrun her. This is because, unlike how it previously was, the vines won't conceal the player and end her chase once spotted, making it more difficult to evade her than before. Also, when your flashlight flickers and/or you hear her sound cues, that means she is nearby. Make sure to quickly hide yourself inside the vines on the wall once this occurs. Kuriko packs a punch with her changes, but despite all this, you can avoid her fairly easily after a while. One way you can do this is by paying attention to when the lights flicker, as that indicates that she is near you.
Previous
Aggressive: The player has the same speed as her sprinting, which makes it harder to outrun her, but somehow, the player can run into the vines and then they will be safe from her, though sometimes she can walk very close to the vine where you hide and kill you. Her breathing and footsteps play when she is near you, so be aware of that.
Powers and Abilities
Powers And Abilities
Ceiling Crawling: Kuriko is capable of crawling on the ceiling, much similar to Saigomo and Kazeko.
Flicker: Kuriko can make the lights flicker along her path.
Flexibility: Kuriko can crawl while being upside down on the ground. She can also bend her back like a contortionist when you get jump scared by her ceiling counterpart.
Trivia
Kuriko initially didn't have a canon name before but was later given one in a document.
Fans and new players usually refer to her as a "spider" or as the "crawling lady" due to her being able to crawl with incredible speed.
Before Kuriko and Megumi were remodeled, Kuriko was similar to Megumi in some aspects—for example, the grey skin tone, the similar masks, and the identical white dresses.
Kuriko is also similar to Hiachi, even after the revamped update. The only difference between the two is their size, their eyes, Kuriko lacking a hat, and Kuriko's hair being rigged.
The template for the 'Mega Stub' category includes an illustration of a chibi Kuriko with a dissatisfied expression holding up a sign saying "No!"
The template for the 'Featured Article' category includes an illustration of a smiling chibi Kuriko holding up a sign saying "Yes!!"
Kuriko has a standing-up version of herself inside the second floor of the cabin, which is seen at the window before getting closer to that cabin after crossing the path of Shizu.
The Kuriko ceiling clone was initially only encountered in Nightmare Mode — however, the clone is now seen in both Normal and Nightmare Mode.
Kuriko and Hanzu were both thought to be based of the Japanese urban legend Teke-Teke.
The Lore Writers have debunked this theory and confirmed that the two are not related to the urban legend.
Kuriko when written in Kanji means "Long time (Ku/久)", "Village" (Ri/里) and "Child" (Ko/子).
Kuriko's chase theme is Hiachi's chase theme but slowed down and pitched lower.
The one crawling on the floor is confirmed to be the real Kuriko.
In a message made by a lore writer, the lore writer states that Kuriko and Biwaki are cousins.
The two were also born in the same year, meaning they would have been the same age mentally when Control's Book had taken place had Biwaki not been cursed three years before Kuriko.
