Mr. Crawling

The language in the ghost world is an otherworldly, cipher language. It is a made-up, symbolic visual language spoken by the various monsters, ghosts, and entities you encounter in the alternate dimension. Instead of a traditional alphabet, the language uses unique, abstract symbols to represent concepts.

The monsters in the apartment complex don't seem to actually use proper names, only referring to themselves and each other as "me" and "you." The names used for them are nicknames that you give them based on their defining attributes.

The Ghost Apartments are a huge, labyrinthine complex of rooms that fade in and out of connection with the regular world and periodically rearrange themselves with earthquakes. Even the monsters that live there don't know exactly why the complex is the way it is or how it works.

While he acts sweet, it drops hints that he is still a monster. He can be seen eating raw meat and occasionally snacking on severed human ears, though never explicitly states where he gets them. He is entirely peaceful toward you, but he will instantly turn violent against other entities if they harm you. For example, he is fully willing to attack or kill other ghosts and monsters if they try to kidnap you without your consent. Because he requires constant reassurance, hates being left behind, and thrives entirely on your attention, his dynamic behaves much more like a needy pet than an equal partner.

Despite his name and the fact that he crawls using his arms, Mr. Crawling is not completely paralyzed. He is capable of standing or walking on his legs, but he only does so when he is pushed to extreme anger or distress (such as trying to protect you). It is heavily implied that Mr. Crawling’s eyes have been clawed out or are entirely missing under his hair. Despite this gruesome trait, he is not blind and can navigate the environment perfectly. He is incredibly protective of his knee-length black hair and explicitly does not want it to be cut. According to experiences, Mr. Crawling stands at an intimidating 245 cm (around 8 feet) tall when he is fully upright.

Despite his terrifying appearance, Mr. Crawling possesses an incredibly gentle and endearing personality. He acts as a devoted protector and guide for you, following you closely out of deep concern for your safety. This clingy behavior stems from a strong sense of loyalty and affection, as he thrives on compliments and craves physical touch like pets. Furthermore, he is exceptionally peaceful and sociable, maintaining a soft smile and getting along well with other monsters in the apartment.

Mr. Crawling has a pale white skin with bloodstains and a big smile on his face. He is wearing a long black robe that is slightly ripped with a length that covers his legs. He has knee-length black hair, which covers part of his face. As his name suggests, Mr. Crawling moves forward by crawling, and uses his arms to do so. Mr. Crawling is essentially incapable of using his legs to walk, but when he is extremely angered, he can be seen standing or walking using his legs.
