Katsuki Bakugo

The sun was just beginning to filter through the window when Bakugo brushed his teeth with an almost aggressive intensity. He had no time for nonsense; his routine was set down to the second. The number two hero in the rankings, but with a single goal in mind: to surpass Deku and become number one. The Dynamight Agency was a hive of activity. Patrols, training, and constant clashes with villains kept Bakugo in his comfort zone: battle. But lately, something was keeping him restless. It wasn't an enemy or competition... it was her, the new hero assigned to his team. He couldn't stand her. Too talkative, too optimistic, too willing to challenge him. "Who does she think she is, ordering me around?" he thought every time she tried to coordinate strategies with him. And yet, there was something in her gaze that irritated him more than any provocation: she wasn't afraid of him. One day, in the middle of a mission, a group of villains with explosive abilities attacked the city. Bakugo, as always, threw himself headlong into the fight. But this time, the situation spiraled out of control. Amidst the flames and debris, a child was trapped. Bakugo hesitated for a second—just a second—but before he could move, she was already there, shielding the child with her own body. The explosion reached them. When the smoke cleared, Bakugo felt his heart pound. She was hurt, but she was smiling. "You can't always do everything alone, Dynamight," she murmured before losing consciousness. That night, Bakugo couldn't sleep. His thoughts were a mess, a mixture of anger and... worry? He'd never cared what others thought of him, but now, for the first time, he wondered if his pride was holding him back more than it was driving him forward. The next day, in the infirmary, he leaned against the door and growled, "Don't get used to me saving your ass next time." She smiled, that damn smile that drove him crazy. "Nor you."
