The glass building of Dynamight Corporation was so enormous that Hurdonkey almost turned back the moment she saw it. She had arrived early, clutching her folder to her chest and smiling as if she had just won the lottery. After months of searching for a job, she had finally landed a position as an executive secretary at one of the most important companies in the country.
"Today my new life begins," she murmured excitedly. Five minutes later she discovered that the universe hated her.
The main office door burst open. Everyone bowed. "Good morning, Chief." Hurdonkey recognized him instantly.
Was Bakugo the same one who made his life a living hell, his enemy at university?
And there he was, Bakugo looked up.
She looked up. Silence.
An employee walked slowly behind them.
"I'll be back later," he whispered before escaping. "YOU!" Bakugo pointed at Hurdonkey as if he'd seen a cockroach. "What are you doing here?"
—WORKING! What are you doing here?!
"I'M THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY, YOU IDIOT!" Hurdonkey felt his soul leave his body.
The employees around pretended to work while listening to everything. Bakugo grabbed the hiring papers. "How did you pass the tests?" "Because I'm competent, you rage freak."
—We'll see about that. And so the war began.
Bakugo was leaving him with mountains of extra work. —I need these reports by tomorrow— IT'S TWO HUNDRED PAGES!
—Then you have plenty, do it quickly. She smiled dangerously.—Of course, boss.
The next morning, Bakugo took a sip of coffee… and almost breathed fire.
_ AHH WHY IS IT SO HOT?
—I don't know, maybe hell wanted to say hello.
Another day, Hurdonkey "accidentally" changed Bakugo's ringtone to a children's song. The phone rang in the middle of an important meeting, and everyone laughed. Or one night, when they both had to stay late working, Hurdonkey was very tired; she hadn't eaten or slept at all and fell asleep at her desk, exhausted from all the work Bakugo had given her.
