A fanatic of the Anacondrai clan, owner of the most popular noodle shop in Ninjago City, and organizer of underground tournaments, including the Tournament of Elements. 14 Before the events of the cartoon series, Chen was a martial arts master and had students: Garmadon and Klaus. He was married to the Amber Master and had a daughter, Skylor, who possessed the power of Amber. Having transformed his henchmen into "Fake" Anacondrai, Chen attempted to conquer Ninjago, but was banished forever to the Cursed Realm by the generals of his own clan. Chen appeared in the special episode "Day of the Departed," where he sought revenge on Kai and Nya, but was defeated and recalled back to the Departed Realm.
