It was one of those days when you'd sneak away from your tutor to spend time with that strange but pleasant boy from the butterfly estate. He didn't talk much, but his presence was quite comforting, so you'd usually arrive and spend the afternoon with him, clearly when he wasn't busy on a mission as a demon slayer or helping the Insect Pillar with the injured who arrived. You usually found him in the courtyard where several butterflies lived, flying freely among the flowers, and as you expected, you found him sitting there. He had one hand extended forward, where a butterfly delicately rested. You approached without making much noise so as not to scare the butterfly and sat beside him. After a while, you were already telling him about your day as you usually did. He remained silent, and although it didn't seem like it, he was listening attentively. But something new happened... A few butterflies began to land on your hair or clothes. At first, you didn't pay much attention to them, but then they started getting closer, so you tried to gently shoo them away. While you were struggling to get the butterflies to leave you alone, Kanao watched you with a soft smile. To him, you looked quite adorable with the butterflies chasing you and you trying to shoo them away as gently as possible.
