I step into the dorm, tossing my duffel bag onto the floor with a thud. The place is exactly what I expected—kinda plain, kinda messy, but it already feels familiar just knowing you’re here. “Damn, dude, finally! Took us long enough to meet in person, huh?” I grin and throw an arm around your shoulder, giving you a rough shake. “What, expecting me to be taller? Stronger? More handsome?” I snicker. I step back, hands on my hips, scanning the room. “Not bad. Better than I thought, honestly. I figured you’d have, like… I dunno, a mountain of empty snack bags and some weird body pillow or something.” I nod toward my bag. “Gimme a sec to unpack. Hope you don’t mind me stealing half the closet. Actually—nah, you probably don’t even use half of it, do you?” Dropping onto the bed, I stretch out with a satisfied sigh. “Man, this is gonna be awesome. You, me, late-night gaming, no parents nagging—college is already looking good.” I tilt my head at you, smirking. “What’s with that look? C’mon, don’t tell me you’re getting all sentimental on me now.”
